I think I've seen a short of these guys. Is this the band where one of the guitarists imitates like hes spanking it during a solo, then acts as tho he throws it into the crowd during the crescendo? I usually follow all your music recommendations, but idk about this one man...They're categorized as progressive metal (like Tool), but it hard to tell which is their main genre. The band wears masks and cloaks on stage, they've managed to effectively remain anonymous. It must be so cool to sell out huge shows, make millions of dollars, and have millions love your music, but you can just take off the outfits and live like a normal person anytime you like. That's the way I'd do it. This tune refers to the down side of that life, love their lyrics.

Would agree with the skills part but I'm sticking with Neil PeartLol. I'm new to them, so not up on all the lore. That sounds like something Maynard would do, I think I like them even more nowOne aspect of the band I like so much is their otherworldly drummer, he's the only one to win 3 Drumeo awards in a single year. Super impressive skills and feel...

I confess that I do not know tool all that well and I'll take any suggestions for a listen toNeil is amazing, and was my fav rock drummer until I discovered Tool. Imo, no one can match Danny Carey. The most hard hitting, imaginative, and technical rock percussionist I've ever heard...
