I have watched this thead for a bit and it didn't even occur about the AFRICAN strains! Afropips has a few. I've had some Nigerian that was fucking mind-blowing! Even though Durban is probably the African weed most people (at least around here) know, and it can be good (power plant and all) it's not near the only weed in africa. Congolese is also supposedly stupifiingly potent. They take a long ass time, but i think it's easier to get landrace African than columbian or panamanian (that i would love to smoke again). I think someone alread told you about the santa marta gold from world of seeds @ attitude, but i'm not gonna read the thread agin , so if they didn't tell ya. They got em.
I hope you get your beans. I think a freind is going to get some santa marta gold and give them to me to grow out.

This is very true. I think Durban is so popular because it is so easy and fast for a Sativa and not to mention the quality cerebral high. I mean for how fast and easy it is its almost hard to believe it is 100% Sativa. I only wish Haze was that fast and easy.

I know mel frank's books talk about them quite a bit. except for the nigerian and durban i've got no direct experience. I've had durban a number of times and it seems inconsistent. Not surprising because I think every seedbank has at least one or a cross because they are soooo easy to grow. Some plants you sit there and wait and wait for them to speed up, nor durban! you better make sure you check every day or it will hit your lamps!
It's funny, here it's all "purple haze is the best weed ever grown", largly cuz of hendrix and even a bit of the same for "bob Marley's Kali" and the like. My African friends are that way about Fela's weed.
The armenian's are probably all about some crazy stoned duduk master's weed.

I wish i had the access to multiple strains at a hands notice but hard to come by around here even though there are atleast 3/4 millilion+ smokers here in my state.
