Wow, when I came home tonite from work the little ones had shot up nearly half an inch in like 12 hours. The yellow leaf on the one plant has nearly faded back to green.
Currently at 1\2 pack nuts.
EC at 977
PPM at 514
PH at 6.7
Got the Digital PH meter today in the mail, it reads higher than the ph strips I have been using.
Now I got to figgure out how much of the PH down to use, to get it back to what I thought it was, 6.0.

Pics below.

Bro, if you do it right, you'll get an inch of growth a day, every day.

Calibrate that meter good.

I got the PH meter from Stealth Hydro. I did calibrate it before I used it.
I added a 1\4 teaspoon of down to the res and the ph dropped after 4 hours from 6.7 to 4.7 !!
Calibrated the meter again and it was not off.
I then added slightly less than 1\4 teaspoon of up and after 10 hours it shot up from 4.7 to 7.4!! ARGH!
Seems the PH up is way more powerfull than the PH down.
I then added 1\5 teaspoon of down and now the PH is 6.4.
That PH up\down is some sensitive and powerfull stuff.

1/4 teaspoon is not too much, but next time use less, like 1/8 teaspoon in increments. Use it in very small increments, hours apart. Let me know if it doesn't stablelize for you.
The most dangerous risk Hydro growers take is the pH yo-yo, going up and down too often, too fast, too much.

I got the info on adjusting PH from your Roseman's Tips, Tricks and Troubleshooting Guide at Stealth Hydro.
Quote "use no more than 1/2 level teaspoon of PH UP or PH DOWN to the tank"
That's why I only used 1\4 teaspoon, to be on the safe side. Now your saying to use only 1\8 teaspoon.

That's ok tho, at least I now know how much it swings per amount of product. All is fine and dandy now that I have some experience with it.

And your advice Roseman is truly appreciated.

Ok. It's been 8 days now since seedlings went into hydro.
Gave up monitoring the EC as every measurement so far has shown it to be 2x times the PPM.
PPM at 490
PH 6.3
They are growing pretty good I think.
