Hey ya'll welcome to my superthread, this is going to have updated pics from my 13 plants (started off with 25, used jiffy pots, and this is where I ended up, dont use jiffy pots!)

For lighting I am using 8 Fl's and 4 CFL's

First we will start off with pics of the entire op (vegging in a 6x2 area). Tallest plant is 1.5ft

You can see from this photo that there are slight problems. I was thinking they are nute problems so i fed them all nutes for the first time. I even watered plants that did not need to be watered at all (lightly however). No signs of spider mites when viewed closely.

Here is a picture of one of the issues with one of the plant. Im guessing heat and or air ventilation (there is none until i build the power supply for the fan. on wednesday).

Here is a picture of some discoloring leaves (from within the individual leaf and from leaf to leaf)

This is what made me put nutes in them

Allow me to introduce, LIL RETARD BABY!!! can u guess which one is 5 weeks old and which one is 1 week old?

This is the one next to lil retard baby, holes in leaves

More inverted bending of the leaves

Bottom leaves of my babies :(

wideshot of my beautiful girls

weird deformity

Well thats it for the pics, I am more than willing to take more pictures of the other plants. I took mostly pics of the problem plants so I could get advice. The vast majority of the plants seem to be doing great and growing well. I do have some questions though.

1) What is wrong with my lil retard baby. Why is it so retarded :(
2) What do you think about the problem pictures?
3) Are my plants on schedual for it being 5 weeks since they went from jiffy pot to soil?
4) Will I have to add nute solution each time I water from now on?
5) What do I need to be doing in the coming weeks?
6) When do you think my plants will reach full maturity and I can start flowering?
7) Do you have any advice to give me?

Thank you so much for visiting my thread! I will be in here for the next few hours taking advice, answering questions, and taking more pics (I have some beautiful arjan's haze hidden in the back).

i have one that is younger than your retard, but looks worse, i trimmed her down to the very top cause all her leaves where blotchy , curling , and starting to dry.
her new growth comes in the same. Shes the only one of the bunch started from seed. wtf happened to them?
nice plants..good luck

if your going to flower with that light you are using than i think your past due to flower, you certainly can do it, but they are kind of big to flower with cfl's right now.
if you dont ugrade light, i would trim the lower half of the plant, cause you wont get anything worthwhile down there.
and yes continue to feed it nutrients, switch it over to bloom food, and if the new growth comes in with ugly leaves try backing off on the nutrients strength

My partner in crime stated it is probably a midget plant. I think personally that it is just like, umm, a lil retard baby?

I have no plans to flower until they are fully ready. I am growing for maximum output and I am purchasing a 1k hps system in a week and using that for veg and flower.

No way i would try to flower this many plants with cfls for fl's

beautiful then, the plant will stretch up to three times its height from when you induce it to flower. So you will begin flowering when you think you will have enough ceiling room to grow with.
Now something to consider, 1000w has a max depth of 3 feet, you may just want to flower at a foot and let it get to approxitmatley 3.
with techniques such as lst and supercroping, youll get more light down there and potentially more bud.
But you still want to trim some off the bottom like i said earlier for air flow and it concentrates energy to the tops.

aw fuck i didnt know their penetration was so low! I guess thats why we will be ScrOG'ing the hell out of these guys. This is a huge problem dude I didnt know hps only had 3 ft of depth! I am growing mostly pure sativas! Fuck, what do I need to be doing?! They are all starting to grow out of control growing an inch a day.

if its not to late to scrog it wont be a bad idea, you should get advice from a member that has done it before.
you would have to level them at the same hight, so cut them down to the screen, and the screen should be approximatly a foot above the pot, once the screen is in induce flowering, trim everything under the canopy, and youll have to check it everyday to make sure each bud site has space to grow. Remove minimal fan leaves to open up light for more bud. Its a lot of work man, but it will solve the sativa issue.
but please run this by a more experienced grower.
otherwise top them so they get more bushier rather than taller. you can also do LST (low stress training), youll need twistie ties or thin wire to bend the top's of the plant down, this will stop it from stretching and cause the second layer to shoot up for light and take the crown.
