So the KKK called my mom's house.

So the Klan called my mom's house looking for me. Now it wouldn't be utterly hilarious if I not only didn't live with my parents, but I have never lived in there current house. I'm in a interracial marriage, my wife is white, and I've dated outside of my race exclusively since college, but I've never really done anything to anger the big bad KLAN. So anyway this is how the Convo went.

Mom: Hello

Klansman: Is ***** There?

Mom: ***** doesn't live here...can I take a message, and maybe he can get back to you as soon as possible.

Klansman: No message...

Mom: So what do you want? Lol

Klansman: Don't fucking laugh at me or you'll wake up to a cross burning in your front yard.

Mom: Laughs again and hangs up.

Now this is how my mother laid down the conversation. I don't think it's really anything to worry about...But she does. She's going to use the patriot act, and freedom of information act to bust these fuckers.

We shall see.

Thats just utterly crazy... Why are people so narrow minded? If only they were raised to believe that everyone deserves equal treatment. I hope your family stays safe and deals with the narrow minded people accordingly.

Thank you. They will. Growing up in the 60's my parents have a pretty good idea of what's going on. They're not afraid...they're just going to deal with the situation accordingly. That means the authorities will be involved, and if that doesn't help they will resort to more direct means of communication. But I doubt it will get that far.

I laugh every time I see a couple of fools with hoods on in the news (I laugh at how stupid they look hiding their hatred behind bedsheets). They certainly DON'T represent the white race.... I know in my travels down through the US I found the further south I got, the more racially divided the towns/cities became. It was like there was an invisible line separating the different ethnic groups. I know up here in Canada there is not as much blatant racism dividing town/cities but I know our Native Canadians (Indians, well not real Indians from India...) get treated poorly, but that's because they keep wanting our government to keep giving them more and more for taking their land. How much is enough? Their forefathers felt spirits, guns and technology were plenty... Now that they have become further educated than ever, they want more $$$. What gives?

Well I did pay our government for this land as well as taxes every year on the property. So our government is working like a bank, loaning out land that really isn't theirs to loan... I remember a guy in the US defaulted on a loan, took the bank to court and they came back with a ruling that the bank loaned out the money which actually wasn't theirs to loan. I think that was in that Zeigeist Admendmum movie.
