I never read about topping more than once. How many times would you keep doing that? Isn't it bad to top during flowering

Every time you pinch them, you'll get 2 bud sites although the buds will be a lot smaller. The more you pinch them, the smaller the bud size you get.
Why not just fem them once (4 tops instead of 2)and let them go?
