I ismokemadblunts Active Member Mar 19, 2009 #7 I might be full of it, but I heard they use the stored energy of some leaves to root and the leaves turn yellow and eventually fall off when all the energy is used. Don't cut them off either they need that energy to grow and may die alltogether.

RandyRocket Well-Known Member Mar 19, 2009 #8 it is normal just before roots take for some of the leaves to yellow and die. Some plants don't always do this. look this over https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/83765-my-first-clone.html leads to this then this followed by this With clones all things are posible.
