Auto flowering plants flower quicker under HIDs, I'm guessing this plant was grown under flouros and it is right on schedule for flouros and auto flowering plants.

I grew Ice in 2004 and yes it contains ruderalis. Very high THC content and an auto flowering plant.

I got my information from experience. No shit talking, just the truth. I have been growing ruderalis on and off for years.

I thoroughly enjoyed this plant! I am re-growing it right now. Don't let my numbers fool you, I think I may have messed up somewhere with the hydro solution. It isn't the plant's fault, even though I wish there was no Ruderalis in the strain (causes early flowering), I wanted to veg my plant for a bit longer and see if I could get a more pleasing yield.

The trichomes cover everything and shimmer in the light, the smell is definitely pleasing but hard to describe or put a finger on. The main intense smells come from the buds actually being broken into bits. Low odor was a major issue with my setup and I'm glad I got a plant that doesn't make the whole house smell like growing pot (already smells like smoked pot).

Do better research. I have known for years that Ice, a cannabis cup winner in 1998, did infact auto flower.

Here is a flowering ruderalis male I have flowering (under 24/0 lighting) some where else for seed production.

When Ice won the cannabis cup it really could not be considered a strain because at that time it was not stable. Read the other grow reports, I had 3 different phenotypes that I picked the best from.

Go read about what ruderalis is noob. You don't know shit. I HAVE ruderalis plants. I don't claim to be a breeder but I do produce seeds for my own purposes. These seeds started from ICE, an auto flowering plant I grew in 2004. It was from the NIRVANA brand seed company in Amsterdam.

The seeds I got from Nirvana auto flowered. Fact... Period.

They may have stabilized the genetics by now and removed the auto flowering property.

What I know is there is:

Sativa
Indica
Ruderalis

The only one of those 3 that auto flowers is ruderalis.

Again if OG was still around you could read all you wanted to your hearts content about Ice and other Nirvana strains people were unhappy with because they could not keep a mother.

That is correct under the right conditions. Under weak lighting double it. The growing environment has more to do with finish time than the strain.

AK48 is related to Ice, but it is NOT the same plant the ruderalis could be bread out after the correct selection of phenotypes.

Get a life and do more than "a few min of web research".

Nirvana lists a "Special Skunk" in Ice's genetics, could it be the "Ruderalis Skunk" they sell?

Fact is fact, go back and re-read everything I have posted. Go back and read everything about Ice that other growers posted in 2004, years after it won the cannabis cup and the strain was not stable. Multiple, up to 5, phenotypes were observed. I saw three of them myself. I picked the one that was leaning more Indica to finish flowering.

All of the plants auto flowered. I kept a male and female for breeding and I have had accidents and cross bred since then when not meaning to and I ended up with what I got. These are descendants of Ice that display auto flowering under 24/0, take it or leave it. I do not claim they are Ice but at the time you could not get a ruderalis plant in the area I live so I kept it alive. Now ruderalis is the new big thing, whoopdy doo.

A brand name (Ice, AK48, Big Bud) can be anything but when it comes down to it there is only Indica, Sativa, and Ruderalis.

Again, ruderalis is the only one that auto flowers!

Bottom line is that the guy who posted this thread has a plant that contains the auto flowering property of ruderalis.

I'm not coming back in here to have a high school level e-fight, because e-fighting is dumb and you have no proof or experience to back up the shit your typing.

We have used the early flowering characteristic of Ruderalis to improve the outdoor performance of some of our best Skunk varieties.The advantage of a Ruderalis hybrid is that approx. 50% of the seedlings will begin flowering at the 5-7th internode, regardless of the photoperiod (with a finishing date of Sept. 1). The other half of the seedlings will be later (October).

That might explain the longer time to flower, plus not enough lighting. IMHO I think that is why it is taking so long to finish.

Personally I think my plant is a Lowryder2. I moved it into 12/12 under my 600w hps about a week ago or whatevere. Its doing awesome, still short, 14-15", but the buds look great ill post a pic when the light comes on. The 2 clones from this plant have rooted and in the last week grown slightly in height and Im seeing some new growth from both, bu they both still are kinda flowery, Ill post pics of those now since that light is on. The other 4 are my Power Skunks. The thing is you guys I cant remember how old ANY of these plants are, nor do I care because they are growing beautifully. And this whole Reuderalis thing, I dunno anything about that but, yea I sure do hope she gets me high when she's done!
