Aerogarden club

I thought that sounded fucked up to. But Im trying to do everything right the first time so I dont waste my Lowlife Ak-47 seeds. Do fox farm nutrients work good in the aerogarden?

Don't cut the roots. That'll stunt the growth big time. I use FF nutes in my AG and you can see what they do by ckecking out my grow link below.

when the seed is germed do i make that hole on the top of the sponge thing deeper and push the hole thing in the hole or do i just drop it on the hole thats premade?
cuase i have tryed it 2 ways #1 i made the holes longer and pushed the seed in and had it germ there and it did i had to wiggle and move the seed around to pop it out to find out that a root started to come out so i pushed it back in the hole carfullyand #2 i germed in a paper towel and when cacked and root came out some i put it in the hole that i made longer too should i have just droped everything on the top or did i do it right by makeing it go in the hole more?
 
thats what happend to me, but the sponge in half all the way down but leave the last part at the bottom intact so its cut it half but stays together, i used a lil srewdriver to make the hole go all the way thru, then i cut the sponge, then when the seed germinates, just place the tap root in the lil groove is when you make the hold and sandwich it in between the two sponge peices
 
do u have a pic of what ur saying cuase im still kinda confused
i used a small screwdrive to make the hole longer down in the sponge already

Jus poke it thru to the bottom, like you did, then, use a knife, and cut the sponge in half and when your cutting, dont go all the way thru when you get to the bottom of the sponge, i'll draw a quick pic if you want haha

so do i go threw both sides or only one side the long way?

place the tap root down into the sponge, and sandwich it in there with the seed in the lil hole and the root gos in the lil grooves made by the screwdriver going down on the inside of the sponge, basically the pth where the hold was made down into the sponge haha if that makes sense bongsmilie
 
why make the long cuts on the sides of the sponge then if im going to put the root threw the bottom of the sponge where the screwdriver made the hole?
 
cause it makes it easier for the roots to grow into the sponge...... the seed is on the top not bottom of the sponge...
 
ow ok so dont bury the seed in the sponge then leave on top but put the roots in the sponge and when big enough put it threw the hole at the bottom that i would make with the screwdriver right?
 
jus place the seed in the sponge it only has one lil root that will come out, lol its not that hard you making it way more confusing then it really is

i just wondering how far down the hole thing should be so know im going to take out the seeds thats already sprouted and basiclly move the shell part of the seed on the out side part of the sponge cuase when i had the seed germd i made the hole a little bit longer so i could stick the hole seed the root and the shell in the hole so u cant really see it so now ill just retack it out and have the shell part out the sponge and the root part in the sponge

and i would like to use those pills it came with .the hole kit came with some starting off nutes then some others and then i bout a side kit cuase the main kit has the herbs seeds in the sponge already witch sucks so i got a side kit where i have to put seeds in my selfand that kt cam with pills that say big and some say small whats the diff of them and whats the way i should go with that?

thats my set up... day 3 so sometime next week i should start seeing something. I asked tho what PH should the water be set at? i got a tester and it said its at 7.0 also my water seems to get a bit hot so is it ok to add some ice in the water?
 
lol that was on long ass sentence, but yea you got it, dont burry the seeds too deep, have the shell on top where the original hole is like you said, and dont use the nutes untill there are 2 weeks old, then use the small tabs, 1 time a week for 9 weeks then the last two weeks dont use them so its "flushes" the plants so they dont taste like chemicals and what not,
