If I was a billionaire I still wouldn't spend half a million on stereo equipment. 10K tops and I would have to be absolutely convinced it couldn't get any better. I have a little over three grand in my system now and it sounds pretty damn good to me

It's easy to say what you would & would not spend money on but the reality of it is much different once you get more money than your accustomed to having,things change once you dont have a house payment,cars are paid for,kids put through school,you have everything you really want or need & you have no monthly bills..

What else would you buy if you had everything else you ever wanted in life ?,you gotta remember that the guys on that site arent just thinking of what they would spend money on if they were rich,they are rich.

But even a $100,000 system still sound wrong in a $3,000 room.. if you're into that $ range you need a proper acoustically built room..

You'd be suprised at how many of the guys who go nuts over that stuff do nothing with their rooms,ive been in guys homes buying used gear from them,they'd have a half million in gear in the room & not a single accoustic treatment.

I havent put any major accoustical treatments into my music room because i dont listen to music to critique every nuance,i go in there,get blasted & crank tunes,now the home theater is another story,ive got a much bigger chunk of cash spent on accoustics in the theater room than i do on equipment.

I run 5 of these amplifiers in my home theater,they cost me $150 each brand new,They will run 500 watts @ 8 ohms in bridged mono with super low THD,all for $150 each brand new,and they can be hooked up XLR for long runs or to use as pro amps.

I never could get into the highest end audio stuff though for myself anyway, resale is different, and I'm one of those expensive cable bashers still. Wire... High end digital cables? Oooh wait super golden oxygen free optical cables. Lubricated for your pleasure with resevoir tips.

The idiots who buy those oxygen free radiation blocking wires that cost as much as a small car are the best guys to make money off of though,they believe all the snake oil a salesman tells them ,then they run home,scare up some cash to get the new model whatever,then they sell off the shit they bought last year at a 75% loss .

well you get your script for whatever reason, headaches, insomnia, back pain etc etc... Then youre allowed to grow(youre allowed like 6 mature plants, no one pays attention to that number though). Im a caregiver for a few people, meaning Im allowed to grow their weed too. I dontae weed to clubs to distribute among patients, and they make a donation of cash to me.

Can you just go in and say, "look every morning I wake up sick to my stomach and never eat breakfast because of this" (I do), and get a card? I'm just curious if it's really that simple, and you can get one for such a minor discomfort.

Yeah, it really is that easy. if you got the $150, you will get the script for pretty much any reason you give them. My reason was insomnia. But I have friends that have used asthma for their excuse. How weed helps asthma I have no idea, but apparently you can get a medical marijuana script for it.
