Air stones ?

They plug up and stop bubbling.OPH:wall:

Are you using anything like liquid karma? I had an air stone clog last night from using liquid karma. I was working in the tank and knocked off the air line and when putting back on under the water, some LK got in and clogged it. Off to Wal-Mart for another.

No,i use GH Maxigrow and bloom.I buy those wal-mart stones and they plug up every couple of days and stop bubbling.I have a 55 gallon aquarium and have the same problem with it.OPH

been useing the two wallmart air stones for over 6 weeks must be somethingin your water. I use the 5" stones

I've used the same 12 inch blue ones from Walmart TWICE, in tow different grows. They never clogged up.

if you have a 99 cent store around you check there in the pet food area

they have air stones tubing and the connector splitters at the one by me but it might be different by area

must be your water

I have 6 fish and 1 airstone and I don't have algy on it and I've had it going for 1 year with no problums

have you only been using those little round ones? You might do better with a long strip. Ive got 3 nute tanks and one strip per tank.. I only have to replace them maybe once every two months.

And, because they are glass, you can simply soak them in muriatic acid to clean them.

ive had 1 waterstone 4 about 40 days no problem buy a few from walmart and make sure to check on it once in awhile if u can take out and wipe it off,it seems to be going good 4 me

Using too high a TDS has caused even the MicroPores to clog on me before. This is the first diagnostic step, but I'd upgrade to these regardless. You're not setting up a fish tank, why use stones designed for them?
