in my opinion, their soils do suck; but their ferts arent that bad if you use them correctly and sensibly... they're just pretty strong most of the time.... and full of chemicals, so i will only use their products for vegging

I ran out of foxfarm but had some MG so i potted a few in MG. Now, checkout the differnce...both 3 weeks in veg. The MG soil used on the left and foxfarm on the right.

ur one on the right looks topped, and the left looks stretched and lacking light.
Both cloned from the same plant. Neither of em where topped and both under 600 watt MH.

There`s 12 plants under that MH, they get plenty of light.

mg soilless mixes are nice when you leech the soil and filter the nutes out. The nutes are actually pretty damn good if you find the right mixs between original ,miracid ,and tomato food.

hmmm... that's some crazy shite Tricks... its just hard to beleive is all, the first looks like a stretched male (ya, i know, same plant)....

it may be that you are using the same nutrients on them and that the one of the left is receiving too much nutes which would stunt growth. it's just hard to beleive because a person -can- use MG stuff successfully. (For instance, i just did a bunch of cloning in M.G. Seed Starting Soil Mix.)

fer instance, i wouldn't use the general purpose MG fertilizer like the first post.... i would use M.G. for Tomatoes which is more balanced (higher in Phosphorous)... and i would only use it during the vegatative phase. the biggest problem with this being that you may have to alter your pH up because they do nothing to pH balance their ferts.

for flowering i would go with a Peter's Bloom formula if i stuck with chemicals (powdered)... or a Flora brand Lucas Formula.

Certain strains can handle MG soil, true. However the majority of cannabis plants hate the stuff. MG is packed with all kinds of nutrients unnecessary for cannabis that more times than not shocks them. As I'm sure all the experienced growers know, less is more...So ya, you can "GET BY" with MG but if you want a top quality top shelf product then MG is not the way to go...
Personally I use Fox Farms products and am amazed more and more with each passing crop.

Miracle grow is the burger king of nutrients !

you will notice when you smoke, you will need a really good flushing.

MG known to leave deposit burns on leaves, plus levels are too high

part A with part B at 50 % every watering
