ya i've thought and thought and thought on how to transport them and idk... guess the only thing I came up with if i had access to a quad would be to put them in a big rubbermaid container and bungie it to the back rack but i dont have a fourwheeler and if someone saw me they'd probly wonder why i had a big as rubbermaid container walking in the woods lol

get 2 liter bottles (soda bottles ) cut them in 1/2 put the plant inside put the bottle back together and tape it .. leave the top off and then place in the backpack

i dont want to sound like dick but i probably will!!! if you cant figure out how to get your " lil bitches " to the wilderness, then who the F*ck dresses you in the morning???? sorry but i had to say that just put them in a cartboard box and do it in the morning or early afternoon!! ( less chance for spot checks buy the pigs than at night)

He just wanted some tips on what other people have done to effectively transport them. Its not as easy as throwing em in a USPS box and taking them up. There are some useful tips on securing the plants so they wont break etc. Dont be such a dick, smoke a joint and calm down.

My best advice to whatever plan of choice you go with, do it at dawn or in the middle of the night and dont attract much attention or leave a trail

You could fit 1 plant in a thermos and it would be inconspicuous. Might not be much room for leaves though. The jars I keep dry spaghetti in would work or maybe those big water bottles you take camping that come with eskies (cool box ... dunno what they are called where you are from), they are called joeys sometimes.

That's all I was doing was getting suggestions from ppl ... i've grown outdoors off and on about 8 years now... just have a bitch of a time transporting them outdoors from indoors every year I always end up with half my crop dead...

This dilemma is connected to my guerilla-grow site plans. I do a lot of fishing in the spring, summer and fall. Here in the south, this can often take you way back in the boonies following a winding river or creek to some very remote locations. Since this also involves carrying a lot of equipment, no one gives it a second thought if they see some guy with a massive tackle box (with the customary rods/reels). A large Plano or Orvis tackle box can be modified to carry a respectable amount of legit fishing gear on the front, with the roomy inside dedicated towards cultivation materials. I've taken 4-6 week-old babies, simply put into large quart-size zip-locks with a few pencil sized holes poked in them for ventilation. Root disturbance is minimal or non-existent with little risk for transplant shock.
Since fisherman (and the game-warden) have their attention firmly transfixed on the water, detection is highly unlikely. The closest I have came is from curious fellow-fishermen and they only want to know one thing the whole world over- " well, how are they biting?". Even if the bass are attacking anything and everything in the box I invariably respond " not a bite all day". Just make sure if you do this that you have your collective act together as far as fishing license, trout stamp etc. Officials with the state don't give a damn what's in the box. Just what's in your wallet.

One easy way is to slip the plants into the appropriate sized pvc pipe about 12 inches long. Put screw on end caps on each end, tape the pvc stacks together and place in backpack. At the site open the bottom cap and they will slide out for planting... Mark ur tubes top and bottom so u pack them right side up.
You can use the pipes for support or stakes at the grow site if u wish.
