put them in the rapid rooters root tip down. on the bigger ones carefully put those in a little further. dont touch the roots only the seed shell use tweezers. good luck

i get em about that big in one day. its the only time i use tap water is on the towels for germin seeds. i keep my paper towel a little wetter than the one pictured here. I leave the bag cracked a bit and put em on top of my water heter so warm and dark there and it works.

I have came to the conclusion that I have been keeping my paper towels entirely too wet.. Next time I will wring out the towel very well.. I want the OP to detail his method though for real. I had to plant my few seeds ( the ones that didnt die and did germ )when they looked like the first pic.

I got the same results as in the OP 3rd pic in 24hrs.

I use a cup of water and a very small tin foil baking pan Slice a slit in the bottom of the pan and use a paper towel for the wick. Place a paper towel over the wick on the bottom of the pan you will see the paper towel sucking up the water, place seeds. Lay 1 more paper towel over the top of the seeds, then cover with plastic wrap and place in front of the heater vent. 24hrs you will have germs like in the 3 pic.

OK, that does look like a nice idea.. I admit it lol. I was confused about what u meant.lol.. does the water actually come up the "wick" and keep the P towels wet? it that a heat vent on the floor under the cup?

maybe you got seeds that are older then the seeds he got so they could take longer

when the paper towel drys at the top the '' wick '' will help bring water to the top. its kinda like haveing your plants in a dish and water in the dish , the soil will pretty much act like a wick and soak the water up

It does not dry; as long as the paper towels stay in the water so keep your glass full.:leaf:

I learned this method in kindergarten sprouting beans.:fire:

Yes, this is my heat vent.
