So i have this master kush plant which is a few weeks from being harvested and im plannng on keeping it and re flowering her a few more times

my question is once a grow is done you re veg does it produce more bud then the first or will it be about the same and does is effect the plant in any way ?

Lots of factors at play here. It depends on how much you leave, and how long you reveg for. Some plants just don't like it some seem unaffected. Your yield will probably be less the succesive times if you allowed the plant to mature sexually prior to flowering.

See, it takes time to re-veg like that, and I'd expect to get less yield as Landragon was sayin. I think the way to go is taking clones. Once they root u can grow basically a new plant, veg it normally, flower, and harvest again!

i think you can get more on the second go round, i mean think about it, once the plant goes back in to veg it has the mother of all head starts, a thick stem that people do all kinds of super cropping and stuff to replicate, plus it has a fully developed root system so it has a real advantage going for it also, i have done this in the past and get best results by leaving most of the scragly buds on it that way it still has a decent amount of plant matter on it to use for photosynthesis, plus once it regenerates you will have what amounts to a multiple topped plant which gives more than enough choices for strong clones, if you were to take samples of the regen. vs a new plant branch for branch im sure the regen would beat it out, plus the time frame before next harvest is shorter, the only drawback to all this is plant stress, sometimes all this can push a plant to go herme...no more than feminized seeds though and for indoors space is usually a limiting factor, so yeah if you have a sweet strain i say regenerate it, you can always keep it as a mother

ya, i think they grow from 'seed to fully grown' faster than if it were a clone, for sure, with the well developed root system. my only fear in doing this (instead of taking clones every crop) is that i've heard they tend to lose vigor by the third time around. Pity you can't just keep flowering mothers alive like this indeffinitely.

a clone is an exact replica of the mother it came from genetics are the same from one clone to a clones clones clones clone clone as many times as you want its still a genetic match what you heard was what everyone has heard not the actual truth

Hey tuss, maybe u know a bit about revegging too? Like u said, a clone has the exact same genetics as the mother, so why not take as many clones as possible right? I mean if u harvested a plant, and left it to re-veg, doesnt the plant have to 'catch up' vegitively before it can even make use of all the extra roots? I've never re'vegged, just always seemed best to me to start a fresh set of roots from clones, but that's just me...

i have neve reveged but i would imagin that you are correct about rootmass... i always figured i could push out more by clone ing and veging the clone the last month of flower so when flowering is done the clone can go in.... most revegers seem to not get great results but others say they do... if anything i would reveg to take a clone not reflower than you might be fuckin up the genetics by stressing the hell out of it reveging you can veg take clones from that and flower than take clones from the clones and flower and on and on and on

Ya, I hear ya there. U just know all that choppin before the re-veg has gotta put a hurtin on the plant, which will indeed take it's tole. I like the idea of re-vegging for clones. My last grow was a bagseed that turned out to be dank as shit, I had no clue till it was much to late to be taking clones, and of course, after it was hung and dried, I was wishing I would've been taking clones from the beginning. But, u live and learn right?

:wall:.... still kickin myself for that last grow! It's all good though, I'm workin on some lr2ak's for now, but after them I got another bagseed that came from the best we got last year and assumming all goes well and it turns out female, it's gonna be a mother for sure! Fingers crossed though, only found 1 seed out of a QP. It's supposed to be called 'harry the 8th' U ever heard of it? I never had til I bought it, it's supposed to be a 'local' grown strain, so I've yet to hear of anyone who's heard of it.
