Well I just seen other people knockin Clowdys plant. I think at 3 weeks his plant is looking outstanding. His plant has came along way with over watering and minor nute deficiancies. I personally belive his plant is at the right hieght in another week he should be at about 10 inches. His lighting is adequate 4 26 watt cfls (daylight) all for 1 plant, that's sweet. he's got about 6400 lumens and for now that's fine, but when it comes time to flowering he might need to triple that for his 1 plant.

He sure has. I think its looking really good, especially like you said with the nute def and all that, it looks really good and healthy now.

Ill take ur word for it, because I haven't grown with CFL's in years. But yeah, he is good to go for veg stage.

Dude, I have not vegged a whole veg cycle with cfls in like 10 years bro, I usually use cfls for seedlings. But,, since my current situation I have growin with them. I should be getting my light setup before this thursday.

I can tell you will do some good things once ya get your light setup. You seem to have the knowhow.

ya im measureing right.im going from the dirt to the top of the plant and if the top leafs are sticking up im going by the bottom of those sticking up leafs :0)~
and when my next check comes in im going to be geting more bulbs veg bulbs.
and ill throw more in there and i might make this box a little bit biger too
but thanks on the comments guy i really am greatfull.and hey like i said for a crap ass ghetto looking reg box black taped up together i think im doing great.if i had professional stuff to play with it would be over :0)
but things are working ok right and ya ive been threw alot with this one and im really glad its doing alot better.now i just need to pray its a girl :0)
maybe at the end of this week i might put it into flowering.

Hey clowdy check my pics, you'll see some sockets that are cheap and super easy to wire. I built a hood with them and will take pics right now...ish. I got the wood at the dump . Six bulbs and sockets a bit of paint ..Whole thing $80 but with $2 back each bulb $68. 276w in a 21x24in hood...blazing.

By definition, at the peak sensitivity of the eye (green 555nm) 1 Watt equals 680 lumens.
This information can be referenced on pg. 27 of "Optoelectronics", Prentice Hall 1983

And BTW you have a perfect CFL grow dont let anyone tell you different. lots of side branching an all at 3 weeks check out others at 3 weeks and compare before you take anyone elses word for it.
What I thought I saw which would have been amazing was preflower..must have been the light comming through (between the stalk and the side branch)...but nope still too early need another 3-4 weeks for presex.... Just FYI if you were to flower now your gonna get like 20-28g off her (assuming shes a girl of course) if your lucky maybe less with CFL Im guessing (10-15) and if you decide to really go through with it Id just lollipop so you get 1 good sized bud at the top and maybe a couple sides comming off the top....but those lil popcorn buds youd get if you dont near the bottom will be too small to even put in a bowl. So like I said if you do it just go for a main cola.... read up on it or ask when ur ready.

very greatfull i got people behind me helping.
and thanks lowryders for that too.
and thanks to the haters to out there but i dont care about them really i know its coming out way better then before.so i dont know depends on the size of the plant at the end of the week if i want to flower it.but i am thinking of makeing another grow box like the one i already have or i am going to make another one i just need more computer fans for air in and out :0(.but the box i have now i think im going to have to make it more wider leaves are sticking out more.and what sucks is that i had an inspection for houseing here today and i had to unplug everything and cover shit and when i did the lights went off and i left and when i came home and pluged shit back in the light were on top of the plant and like 3 leafs are bent or creased now :0(
i hope it will go back to the way it was and i hope it wasnt burnd kinda from te bulb when i shut it off :0(ill post pics in a sec of what it looks like

long as stem is still intact and u have a few fan leafs it will be fine...you might lose the fans but not until more come. As far as the light burning it it shouldn't be too bad since once u unplug those things they cool off quick. Id be mroe worried bout the inspection myself.

If it only bent a few fan leafs you will be good to go. Even the main stem will repair itself. Like when people do bending, or LST like I just did, the plant will recover. You will know when you have a plant that wont recover, because it has to be pretty bad.

Shit, how often do you get inspected? That kinda sucks man, you have to be careful. Thats why I can't wait till I get my house, my own house. Half the basement is going to be a grow room.
