Just because the breeder claim that many weeks doesn't actually mean they'll be ready by then.. Hopefully, but more doubtful than not.. Most ppl harvest too early actually.. Its really sad! Luckily you're pretty good with your magnifying camera setup so we'll be able to help you know exactly when..

Not to mention, with that much on the line you will be tied down with the grow!!!When i was doing the 5 every 2 weeks i was tied down more than i wanted,Cause once its full your commited for 8 weeks.I suggest less plants and 2 weeks on the cycle.
Hey beech,
well if i go to four sections, it doesn't really mess anything up i guess, it just puts me at harvesting more repeatedly. I would think that would cause more work? More watering, chopping, manicuring, drying/curing?
I guess on the other hand, the amount of plants you harvest each turn would make a big difference on how long it took to manicure and dry/cure the buds.

That's true......I hear people all the time talking about WW taking up to 10 weeks to get done.
I guess i need to rethink this, huh?........:wall::bigjoint:

And every seedling will have its own time frame.. Another bonus of clones.. For now it might not be a bad idea to call that 4th section slack space..

Nope, no seeds. If i can ever get this cloning thing down all the way, that's how i'm rolling untill i get tired of the two strains i got.
CLones are giving me problems though, can't figure it out:wall:!!
You mean keep that fourth section open and ready in case i'm wrong, huh?
Might not be a bad idea....

What up guys!!! Just woke up to about two feet of snow outside my door. NO WORK TODAY!!!!!
Yup, i know there will be more work involved, but i go to the farm every day as it is.
Beech, My cycle will be:
3 sections, 16 plants per section, running in 3 week intervals.
WW and PPP both call for a 8-9 week flowering time. 3 sections in 3 week intervals, 16 plants per harvest, works out right including a two to three week clone time.
I gotta get to finishing the drawing for you guys so you can see.
I'm on it!:weed:
Lol, I am just getting the storm you had now. I am east cost. Its snowing pretty hard right now. Suppose to get a foot.

I gotta catch up in your journal. Yeah man, thats a full time thing. Your up to that?

I can probably help you with this. First question What are you using to clone?

Clones can survive a couple months in the fridge unrooted, so they probably aren't dead.. Then again, maybe absence of light matters..

Actually ,sense you're on now, got a question for ya'!!:-P
My clones were in the high domes, like 7" i think, but the light was right on top of that. They got chili and a little too wet because of it. No moisture was condensating on the dome.
I thought the light was maybe a little too high, so i changed out the high dome for the low dome i had before. You think this could have been part of the problem?

Temperature is very important and needs to be stable for mine to get roots in less than 8 days.I have started using a heat pad and that makes alot of difference, temp of soil is IMO key!!!I use Grodan cubes and soil but the cubes root twice as fast.

What kind of light? How far from the tops?
A four foot shop light with two 40watt bulbs., from lowes with a diamond plate reflector hood(outside only).
They are now right on top of the 2-3 inch dome, wich are about 1/4 inch from the top of the plants.
they were right on top of the 7 inch dome, but i think the rule of thumb is 2-4 inches for flouro's, right?

Right, i spent $50.00 for two mats, outrageous price, but well worth it. I noticed a difference in the heat in like 10 minutes. I had things perfect and the WW rooted perfect. But then one night it got to be about 13 degrees here, and they drooped. Got the mats the next day and have been nursing ever since. But we learn from our mistakes!!!:hump:
Beech, are the grodan cubes basically like rockwool, or is that something else?
Used RW before, but didn't like it. Too easy for me to kill them in those things!!LOL!!!:-P

That's about it....
WW and PPP clones, had a problem with the temps...again!!
Had to buy heat mats for them, but now i'm waiting to see if they perk back up.
You don't have any of the Gel? What are you putting your clones into? Do you have a dome? If your just taking a clone and popping it in dirt, then you will run into problems.

Ok, so you do have a dome. What type of light are you using for it? Some lights dont put out enough heat to get the humidity you need to create ideal conditions for the clone be healthy and root.

No krat i got the rooting hormone, domes and all that.
Even got me some propagation plugs and a mister. I've done this before, but never with it this cold. Like i said, they took off great at first, rooted quick, then one night they dropped. :o

AHHA, your having issues because of the cold. Ok, give this a shot....you know the Heat Lamps people use for snakes and whatnot, get one of them, They work great for humidity and keeping your temputure up. I know its not the ideal light you want to grow your plants, but one of them might solve your problem

I was hoping you had that stuff, but from your answer to some somebeech said I was not sure. lol

Ya, its cold here, just got a huge storm. So I hear ya on those issues.

Already got the heat mats, keeps it plenty warm in there for them. I think my issue was w/ lighting.
