With my experience its usually when they are about a little over a foot tall. Then again no matter how tall they are animals can always get to them. But you should be okay when they are about a foot tall.

I dont use fences, I dont really need to, it only attracts unwanted attention. If oyu want to keep away animals such as deer use Your hair, they are scared of this, also piss around your grow spot to keep them away. These two things combined will keep deer away like an invisible fence I promise you.

You dont need a fence.

Spray Tabasco sauce on bigger plants, Rabbits hate that shit. For Baby Plants, use live trap, skin, soak in hot sauce, serve with rice.

Hey P., been thinking about your planting situation. Think about low spots, & adding good nutes, no digging. That's what I going to do.
