hey guys first time growing here and i wondering if a 250 watt hps light would be enough for 6 plants in 8" by 12" inch area

How are you going to grow 6 plants in a 8" X 12 " area? that's not enuff room for 6 pots

thats about the size of the light with the reflector on lol do you mean 8 ft by 12 ft

if thats all the area you have yeah the light will work good but 2 plants will fill the area out super quick and be more than enough

haha i realized that was small after i posted it what about a 2 by 2 foot area how many plants could i grow
