humidity is they only way your clones drink. If its not humid, they arnt getting fed. I foliar feed 3/4 times daily. 100% clone rate in rockwool. Never had a clone die yet 'knock on wood'.
Besides the fist plant I cloned. It was a male plant, so once all the cuttings took root. I tossed em. I wanted to make sure I could do it before I mothering my perfect moms.

You need a rooting solution to dip your cutting in, these have growth hormones in them and help the clone develop roots faster plus some will actually help pull any airbubbles out of the stem if that so occures.. thats why its important to not let a cutting jus sit in th open. I have always used an old aquarium to help keep humidity up, this time I am just leaving them in the closet and misting with distilled water several times a day. this is what bleezy means by foliar feed, mist yourclones with water, use a spray bottle or wot not. remember the only way they are taking in water is through the leaves right now until they root. GL

What do use to foliar feed the clones... a root production solution?

:leaf: Check out the roots on this clone 10 days old male.
:weed:No dome under floro light.....misting 2-3 times every 24 hrs.bongsmilieRelative humidity here in Hawaii around 80% though.

I used a cloneing gel clone x they was under a propagator for two week. This is the 1st time i have had a problem like this i always leave in propagation room never had a problem with clones in the room where i keep mothers. After 2wks i take them out and put them under 600 hps. They seem to have picked up since i put the dome over the top of the clones these clones don't need to feed by spraying they have a lovely root system on them there growing down but not up.But i will try propagator again under 600hps.
