actually, you could have the unit set up with a very slight tilt, not enough to alter performance but enough to aid drainage. ya dig?

thanks for all that info. nice post.Flushing is a remedy for mediums which contain chemicals that will have a negative reaction within burning Cannabis. These chemicals are primarily Nitrogen & Sulfur. If you wish to avoid a flush, you may do so by adapting your feeding schedule during the flowering cycle. Instead of flooding your system with plain water, switch to a formula which contains little to no Nitrogen & Sulfur. If growing in soil, it is even easier avoiding a flush. Soil can be enriched with Fish, Blood, & Bone meals in addition to a small amount of secondary/micro nutrients you add through the fertilizer of your choice, pay attention to the chemical analysis, & seek out the elements you're missing. Soil so enriched with attention paid to a full nutritional program can be grown from start to finish on plain water, effectively making their entire life cycle a "flush". If your final product displays traits such as turning black rather than grey or white when burned down to nothing, or extremely bitter flavor in your smoke, reduce the ammount of Nitrogen (usually in the form of Blood Meal) to compensate so that your plants fully utilize all of the Nitrogen & Sulfur present in the soil before they finish.
