yellowing near the end of flowering

How much yellowing of the fan leaves is normal near the end of its life cycle ? would love to post pics but my camera is crap then with the lights on you get all the lines running through it...ive heard that it starts at the bottom, as mine have, but now its making its way upward to the top fan leaves. Now ive just started week 7 on some seeds that are supposed to go anywhere from 55-75 days of flowering. And I notice that right after i feed/water it, within 12 hours, there is more yellow on the leaves and a couple others are starting to turn.

Ive stopped watering all the way through thinking im over watering it. With the pot feeling light as a feather, I give it a little bit through the bottom of the pot, but it still seems like its too much. Couple of noob questions on top of that question. Could it be from being in a pot too small and being root bound ? or am I just freaking out and everything is going to be ok ? with no pics I expect full blown diagnosis of my plant..lol....(gonna put in for you serious ones out there, NO I dont expect a full blown diagnosis with no pics....me being a smart ass)

Your freaking out.

Check out the end of my water farm grow
They were awesome buds and most of the leaves were yellow.

You could water a bit more from the bottom. Roots in pots like that.

me freaking out is very possible...now ive looked at yours and im not seeing the yellow like mine...that makes me more nervous...damn i thought this stuff was supposed to make you paranoid when smoking it...lol My yellow fan leaves are bright...i mean BRIGHT yellow..they start off with a hint, then after a day or so almost all the way yellow, then after a day or so of completely yellow, they hang down and fall off with no help from me. Leaves around the buds are still green, so far anyways. Its kind of odd...i have two clones of jack flash #5 from feminized seeds. One looks great compared to the other...still good deep green color, but the other one has quite a bit of yellowing...The two are in the same closet under the same lights and being fed the same food at the same time. Granted I am not measure the amount of water im feeding them. I was just watering/feeding from the top of the soil until a little water comes out the bottom of the pot. Maybe its another problem. Honestly i dont know. I am headed off to work for now, i will try to get in there this evening and snap a few shots of it before the lights come up all the way and get it posted up here. Thanks for the support tho..maybe its just how these grow...I havent heard a lot of people growing the strain so, again, im not sure .

Fan leaves normally turn yellow, bright yellow, yellowish brown and brown during flowering. I've had strains fan leaves turn completely yellow after a few weeks of flower. Relax dude, its just the plant using up its stored nutes.

Some folks like to switch to the flowering nutes as soon as they go to 12/12. I wait until the plants starts to develop flowers. The flowering nutes should have alot less nitrogen. You need lots of nitrogen during veg. That is what greens them up so nicely. When the plant is in flowering and starts to run out of nitrogen it starts taking stored nitrogen from the fan leaves. The amount of yellowing is a direct reflection of how soon the nitrogen in the nutes and medium gets used up.

Your freaking out man.
Save the paranoia for when your high. :bigjoint:
will do...thanks....got bigger problems now. All of the sudden after 6 full weeks of flowering, heat has become an issuse....night before last...forgot the fan was unplugged. :s hurt my babies good....so after a much needed watering, and a light misting of the girls after lights out yesterday, it seems that with the fan running, its still too hot as more leaves have curled.

It baffles me because I had this under control since very early December when I lined the walls with foil and then the next day tore it all down after finding RIU.org .
