I bet once you rig the HPS you will have some short, bushy ass plants. Will you add a screen when you go agian and Scrog it up? I bet the weight would jump up if you maxamised the light like that.

I have been looking around for some DWC Scrog threads but search is acting screwy. If I can read up I might try it. That is if I can clone. I have never tried...

I don't think it is to late totry for clones now SICC maybe you can get a perpetual thing going on.

why not set up a outdoor dwc? make a platform over the river and let the plants grow,they will be all organic and stuff. a thought that would be cool to do

your river water would be good to use if the fish out of the river are edible

pond water should be boiled before use to kill any microbacteria. the water may be stagnant

Yea the AG nute tabs buffer the PH, i have never checked mine haha, i kinda bought as i went thru the grow, i dont even have an air stone in haha, but all these things i wanted, money is tight, but im gettin some shit strait, will probably do one more AG grow, and if i can, switch to DWC, but thats like a year away almost haha, but i needa cop a PH testser, im getting my taxes tomorrow, and will be lookin into it

i got me a soil ph tester today just as a preperation and to start learnin some of the small stuff before i completely transfer to strict hydro grows. i knew my ph for the soil and shit was all completely in check,i know im that damn good. i just got it to verify my judgement and it has a moisture meter on it as well as a light meter,payed 10 bucks,so fuckin happy,i have about 1300 light candles out of 2000 max,thats pretty damn good and is a great level without burning. my plants are 7nodes and are only 2in tall,they are compact as compact can be. im goin to have fucking bushes.damn im good,well after all I am satan .ill be spendin my taxes all on glass and next taxes on equip,since ill be movin and when im settled in place and ill beable to use next tax on the hydro.

haha its all good, i did a soil grow with a friend last year, it was aight, but i like hydro way better, im the same way tho, i need get to into the PH testing and all that, i kno most my shit but i still got some grey aeras, my plants could have gone WAY better, but you learn from your mistakes, i shall spark a bowl myself oh great one

Man, you guys are making me jealous, I smoked my last nug of blueberry x widow (outdoor soil) yesterday, been fiending for some more dank, my main man is re-upping this weekend, but I been studying for tests so it kind of worked out I guess.

I had alot of fun testing pH of random shit today when I got my kit, lol. Probably did like 4-5 un-necessary tests lol. Made me feel like I was in chemistry again lol.

Ignorance is bliss though man.

As soon as you have all of this other shit to monitor you just waste more time and resources checking shit that probably hasn't even changed.

I know petco has some stick on pH meters you submerge in the water (all the way down to pH of 5.0), I was really thinking about getting one, but they only last for a few months and it was the same price as the pH tester and up/down kit.

mine goes from ph of 8-1. ill prob pic up water ph at my local pet before i leave this state of mind and resume life somewhere else. ill be movin to a unfamiliar area and this way ill have the basics of what i need to get growin again and i wont have to pittle pattle and drive around someplace new that i dont know to find what i need. this way my lazy self can just stay home,save gas and grow

I'm trying to get a pH range for the AG nutes. I use Fox farm and before I adjust it, it pH's from 4.9 to 5.2. I'd like to know what the AG folks pH their nutes to for a 1 gal setup like our AG's.
