the purpose of lollipoping

I know its so the plant can concentrate all of it's energy on fattening up the top buts but does that mean if you dont lollipop the buds wont bloom to their full potential otherwise or does it mean the flowering time is sped up?

i believe its more of a SOG thing. More plants in less space but still with a decent yield. Add all those colas up in a SOG setup and u could end up with some real weight.

The weight is about the same... just gets transferred from the bottom to the top...

It is all just a matter of preference...

I like big buds and I cannot lie....

Here are the latest lollipops... 1/2 to 3/4 oz each... and they occupy no more space than the pot... so you can have an army of them....

your right... i guess the real the point i was trying to make was that marijuana is a durable plant that grows in the wild without humans fucking with it so it's not like they plant cannot survive on it's own...even with decades of marijuana growing those guys in india can't afford the necessary equipment to grow dank weed but they do anyway.... my intent wasn't really to insult their intelligence... rather their lack of equipment

I am not sure I understand what you mean... but if you don't set it up from the beginning, chances are you will not get the desired result...

The way I do it, A; B. Fuct style is to...

TRIM THE LOWER 3RD OF THE PLANT AND CUT ANYTHING THAT GROW OVER 1"... RE-TRIM @ WEEK 3...

If you do that... you will get SOG type single colas...

Unknown Strains... there are 2 indica heavy strains on that pic..

Gallon pots yeah...

The plants use only th space of the pot, so you can cram as many as you have room for pots...

3 or 4 foot what? plants? no the are about 18"... see the lighter ?

No vegg... as soon as the clones have roots, they flower...

and now that I think of it.. one of those is actually 12/12 from seed, making it 3 strains in that picture...

well i am going to put that they to the test this year. when i go out scouting for deer and elk i have a spot picked out already and im going to poke some seeds in the ground. 2nd time i will go pull up the males. and the last time is harvest.

I just say that b/c if your growing for yourself, its best to get the most out of the least amount of plants. Especially since we all grow medically and have a limit on the number of plants.

But hey whatever floats your boat.
