the way i grow is using a nft system but this time i wanted to change so i tryed a new way of growing i used rockwool slabs for a change and used 2 1000 watts hids lights leaveing the lighs on allday for 4 weeks instead of 18/6 and then 12/12 for budding and it worked well... tel me what you think?

i aint got a clue about the yeilds ive any bin growin a year n half still learning alot of new things. this mite be a daft little question but how do you check yeilds and what is it?? there was only 4 in the room i can fit 10 in there but i only done 4 to see if it would work.the plant growed about 4 foot tall and you could just about hug them each plant produced 7oz which i was very pleased about. when i was useing nft systems i was only get 4-5oz each plant and they never went busher as these the nft system is now used for clones and mother plant. i always kept the ph level at 5.8 and the ppm was kept between 1.8 -2.2 never went any higher than 2.2 and i always checked the plant ph -ppm every day because it changes every day eg 1 day i filled the tank up wiv nuets set ph level at 5.8 and ppm at 1.8, next day ph was 6.2 and ppm was 2.4 so i lowerd ph and ppm and done that every day. i didnt have 1 little problem with them they growed beauitful and taste beutiful. lol.. pease get back to me about yeilds i need to master that cause i dont know much about it..

And you check it by weighing yer buds on a scale. A lot of ppl on here use digital scales (like myself
), but a triple beam is VERY handy!ok. thats what i use digital scales and each plant weighed in roughly 7oz some was just a little under and some was jus a little over i was well pleased with this crop. 1 of them produced 7 n half oz but when i cloned it it looked the best out of the 4.. these plants are c45. thanks 4 ya advice mate.. now lets get all 10 on the go now and see if tha produces well. ill show you all in 8 weeeks time .lol. or if get any problems that i come across fingers crossed i dont.

dude, try leaving your crop for another 2 weeks under 12/12 light. (even if the strain finishes in 8 weeks) flush with lots of pure water for final 3-4 weeks. this will give you optimal sugar production and a taste sweeter than candy!

yeah always flush them out before chopping or else the bud doesnt taste as nice
ive always flushed them out before chopping. i any use pure water for the last week of blooming so you reackon 2 weeks of feeding pure water then? you know when you feed them water for the last week or 2 do you still have to do a ph check, ive never botherd ive always just left them.
