I naturally assumed (my mistake, apologies) that since the thread was on intelligent design, your postings led me to believe your thought it was a reasonable alternative to evolution.
is Evolution the end all of our explanation... yes....so far. that's the wonderful mechanism of science....if something new and provable to at least a "scientific theory", it will replace the old model.
if only this could be applied to politics
using fossil records to prove evolution is incomplete in itself merely because of the statistically minimal fossils available. Not every animal or plant which has lived leaves a fossil to be discovered. However, combining what we do know in fossils coupled with DNA studies does suggest and reassure the evolutionary theory each and every year. No theory has been TESTED to the degree that evolution has...and it remains today. that does mean something....a strong theory.
