Best Sativa Bud?

My personal favorite is Durban Poison.
It is not the type of weed that gets you completely baked but it does have a nice up high and it smokes really clean. I am a big fan of outdoor growing and this is one of the best that I have tried. Really easy to grow and produces A LOT.
It is a very tall plant though so make sure you have room for it!

I would say super silver haze or cindy 99, both a couple of sativa all stars.

Now I was actually looking at super silver haze before so that's interesting.

This is all personal opinion but I would put my Kali Mist up against most Sativas. It is not only a awesome high but the flavor is as unique as the buzz. Once you ever smell Kali Mist, you won't ever forget that fragrance. It grows easy (likes lots of P&K)...Has very good yields (my biggest yielder)...Lots and lots of resin...it just demands respect when it is in your garden.
The high has no ceiling. The more you smoke the higher you get. It gives me fits of laughter like a school girl and I am 50 years old!
As long as I am growing my meds, I will grow Kali Mist. Super Silver Haze is a very solid Sativa and I also like it alot but for me, it's Kali Mist and no other is a close second.

Oh, one more thing, if you are going to grow Sativas make sure and have plenty of room anad plenty of patience. However, it's worth all the time and energy invested. The return is off the charts. Good luck!

Yea, I guess I am a lil enthusiastic when it comes to Kali. Just as Reefs said, it is from Serious Seeds who only offers 5 strains but they are, without a doubt, as good a genetics available to the general public. I ain't sayin they ARE the best but I can promise, no one is better.Kali Mist is my holy grail...at the moment. It offers so much...taste...beautiful nugs...undescribable high...Fragrance that is it's very own...it's just one of many great cannabis plants but for me, it offers everything I am looking for in my meds. I get as high today as I did the first time I ever smoked it. I have absolutely zero tolerance build up with Kali Mist. No one had ever heard of Kali Mist from my area. When I started passing around meds, this stuff became legendary. People tried to give me credit for growing such a wonderful plant but I will telol you just as I did them, it's the plant. All I do is give her love and stay the hell out of the way. If ya ever get a chance, give Kali a run. You will be as hooked as I am.

I have had the same exp. with Haze as in I have no tolerance build up for it. Shit I bought an ounce of it about 1 1/2 years ago and just could not get immune to it, 2 or three hits and I would be blasting off for like 4 hours. Actually I think it ruined me, now I just don't enjoy smoking the normal mediocre shit that everyone has everywhere and they think its the shit. I really just wish it didn't have such a ridiculous flowering period. Well my next grow will consist of Kali Mist I really hope it lives up to what every one says it does.

Reefs, I have no doubt, Kali will exceed your expectations. I also agree that smoking a good haze or Sativa will ruin you. Nothing else stacks up. I am currently growing Kali Mist...White Widow...AK47...Hindu Kush...Whiteberry and have a Bluecheese about 3 inches tall. With all to choose from, I just don't smoke anything else. Every now and then, I will smoke some Widow or Kush but when I am ready to medicate, I ALWAYS reach for Kali.
I can take about 3 hits of a morning and I am good to go until that afternoon. 4 hour buzz is common with Kali. On the weekend, I can do a wake n bake with Kali and continue to smoke throughout the day and I don't get that "crash" that you get with most meds. I swear, there have been times I had to smoke some Hindu Kush just so I could go to bed.
When you start your Kali just holla ta me. I will give you all the knowledge I have gleened from 4 runs of Kali. She is not hard to grow but like most beautiful ladies, she caqn be high maintenance.

Smoked some Purple Haze back in 2000 that took my head off!
But we mostly see Indica based pot round my parts prolly cause they are better for commercial production.
But I'm growing some SSH right now that should be promising. Here is hoping, I would love to get some Kali Mist clones though.

It's gonna be a few months, I just started flowering 3 Warlocks last weekend and I am going to start flowering 1 Delahaze this weekend. What percentage of females do you usually get off Kali? I am not the one to ask that question. When I first got my Kali, I popped 3 beans and all 3 were female. I have been working off those with clones ever since. This is my last run using 3 different clones. I just want to make sure the ONE Kali that I keep for my grow is the best of the lot. I really can't tell much diffence in the 3 other than one has more resin and one has bigger buds. Other than that, they are exact copies.
All other Serious Seeds that I have purchased have been mostly female. I popped 3 AK47 an had 2 female...I popped 3 White Russian and had 3 female. I have popped 9 Serious Seeds beans and had 8 females. It's freaky.
robotninja: Purple Haze is something every cannabis fan should smoke before they check out. Thats old school genetics. The stuff I was raised on. You will really like the SSH. It is in the same league with Kali Mist no doubt. I just like the taste and smell so much better with Kali but thats just me. It blows me away at what people pay for commercial grown herb that tastes like chemicals. Thats why us growers can grow what the hell we want to smoke and get the highs we each prefer. Enjoy that SSH and let us know what you think about it.

Big Laughing by Dr Greenthumb is my favorite strain so far, but I've been growing mostly indica dominant strains so I don't have a lot to compare it to. Amazing spicy wood taste that you never want to exhale and over a few minutes things start to get funny and you're laughing at everything. 9 weeks flower, easy to grow, low odor, medium yield, potent.
In addition to the BL I'm growing Strawberry Cough and for the first time: Kali Mist, Bubblegum and Red Diesel. The Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion) is a nice all day smoke, melts anxiety, relaxing, but I find it a bit mild right now - I keep doing bag after bag on the Volcano but can never seem to get high enough. And I'm not crazy about the taste, chemically on the back and sides of the tounge. I'll try flushing better this run, it's a strain with good reviews so I'm going to take the time to learn to grow it better than I did.
