Update - Day 5
Well a few things have happened since last night. First things first, as green_nobody suggested, things were starting to look a bit stretchy. I do NOT think this is because the plants were to far from the light, as the light have been between 1" & 2" away since they broke soil - Rather I think the stretching is simply because each individual plant is not receiving enough lumens, and thus stretches for light in an attempt to find more. To combat this I added a bit more soil in Mazar pots #1, #2, and #3 to cover up the stems a bit. Also Mazar #5 broke the soil and is reaching happily for light. The White Widow plants have been behind about a day since the start, but have all broken the soil and spread their leaves.
Now for the second major thing - as you know if you've been following this, I had a little mix-up and ended up with two seedlings in Mazar #4. To correct this before the roots grew and became entangled I performed a bit of surgery tonight. I used a razor-blade to split the soil between the two plants and separate them. One seedling went back into Mazar #4 with fresh soil filling in the empty spaces, and the other went into a new cup (along with a lot of fresh soil), which will now be Mazar #6. In all honesty, it wasn't the best surgery/transplant that could have happened and I won't be surprised if one or both of these plants die. I'll be keeping a close eye on them over the next couple of days.
My 400w MH/HPS system arrived today, the seedlings will be going under the MH in a week or two. My Fox Farm nutes also arrived, which I will be starting with on day 8 (in a very, very diluted manner). Also as others have suggested, I will be correcting my mistake of putting them in clear cups but either putting them in larger plastic cups to cover the clear ones, or adding masking tape around the clear cups to make them opaque. More pictures tomorrow.
