I dont think Any of us would donate with out a very clear, and well thought out plan that might actually work. RT76 the OP is planning on getting support from all the major Pot groups, Including NORML.

Once the plan has support from some of the existing organizations it will definitely be much easier to rally support from all the skeptics out there. That includes me. I wont donate a Dime unless I believe it could work .

I was dead set against this idea a week or so ago, but the more I read it might not be such a bad idea. I would seriously enjoy growing a huge crop outdoors or in my greenhouse.. Imagion that

Sure would be nice. Imagine going down to the local weed farmers market. Buying and trading and sampling the local flavors. Trading tips with growers and talking about the newest innovations in pot growing. I bet there would never be a single robbery, assault, or any kind of crime at a legal weed farmers market.

Seems so ridiculous that in some states people can get put in jail just for possession of POT... What a waste of tax dollars.

In time maybe we will. It is rediculous. I can see if you were caught trafficing like 1000 lbs for a mexican Cartel. Then you might be a couple of years, But nobody should be jailed for simple possession, or even growing in moderation.

Exactly. Gangs, and big time dealing that funds gangs is a way different situation. Most people who smoke pot are hard working people who just like to get high, and some of us prefer to grow our own rather than have our hard earned money flow strait to the gangs.

Just look at the whole Tommy Chong bullshit. Everyone knows Tommy Chong wasn't a criminal or a threat to ANYONE....

So this thread got very long. I read the first ten pages or so but I'm with RT on this one. I think that NORML should look at the NRA and follow its methods. Whatever he is cooking up I'm sure it's good.

I agree whatever he's cooking up must be good. He hasnt posted a lot in this thread and is keeping very quiet about what's planned. When you look at the NRA and how powerful they are, there is no reason why we couldn't follow they're model, but I'm not sure if this is what RT's got in mind.... and we wait...

I agree. He seems like a pretty smart guy from what I could tell in the Guns and Growing thread. He definitely knows his shit. Im definitely interested in what he's planning. Just the fact that he's out planning stuff with people and being proactive and not just spamming ideas on the net.

No I dont smoke cheap tobacco. That shit tells you right on the fucking package that it will kill you. Why The Hell would I want to smoke that? I dont wanna look at a limp dick cigarette or someones inside out lungs when I buy a pack of cigs.

I do like good cigars tho, not that cheap shit. Once in a while some good tobacco is great.

Its true though. They sell you cigarettes at every single store possible. Pretty fucked up system. The ONLY reason you can buy cigarettes and Alcohol is because in the past people didn't let the Government take it away. It's time to take back pot, its our government....we own THEM, its just time to do it legally and lawfully.

if all the potsmokers actually had the balls to stand up for what we do, it would be a force to reckon with...the problem is that most people are too scared to even admit they smoke pot...parents have so much to lose, business men, lawyers....but if it was something in unison, i think we'd be surprised at who and how many tokers there are....let me know, ill donate the proceeds of my next harvest....

I agree so much. This is a peoples government not some kind of hierarchy. If we want something done, we have to do it ourselves. Instead of being afraid of being caught by the police the police should be afraid of us.

The government IS a Hierarchy. But they don't want us to know how it works..

Government Hierarchy is as follows.

GOD is above the Citizens (the regular people, You or Me.)
The People are ABOVE the Government. (WE have the final say. WE elect REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PEOPLE)

And finally the Government is above the Slaves.

Well since we don't have anymore slaves the Government needs someone else to work and build infrastructure and do all the jobs the "upper class" dont want to do. It's been far too long that the people have been ruled by their government.

You are absolutely right. We do need to step up and hold our government and police officers accountable for their actions when they are ignorant towards or feel they are above The Law.

I don't think our new President is going to agree much when it comes to legization. That sucks, becasue I thought if there was a chance that a president who would back the legalization issue, it would be an African American one. I not being racist when I say that, I'm only saying that the black community has always enjoyed the use of cannabis. Also, slaves used to harvest the white mans tobbaco, and make the tobbaco companys filthy rich in doing so.

I would think that a Black president would like the idea of White people being the farmers, and the black man could then be enjoying the crops grown by them.
