I have a AG and my main root on one of my new 3 day old plants is brown at the end and shorter than my other one that was 3 days old. I didn't know you needed to change the water every week so I did that today but I used tap water that was room temp. I also didn't know that I didn't need to add nutes to it until 2 weeks. I added it in as soon as I got the AG. I did have a plant before this one and my cat kinda ate it. It was 5 days old. I was pissed to say the least. It got into my walk in closet where I have the AG. I am starting over now but this root looks diff than the other one. It did have green stuff that I think was mold that I read somewhere that you need peroxide and a Q- tip to clean the top off and I did. Then the root got shorter and got brown overnight. I am worried. Any tips? Also I have the AG with 7 port thingys and only two lights. I would like 2-3 plants. Is it enouph light for 2-3? I do have Aluminum foil 4 peices on each side of the AG to get better light so my other seeds can sprout. I did have a fan on the little 3 day old plant that is growing I had it on it overnight one night. I have been keeping it off now and the aluminum foil covering the AG to help sprout the seeds. Also do I need to spray my one plant with water and mist it? I have it on 24/0 now until my seeds sprout. Thanks for reading this. well sounds like you learned from most or mistakes haha, but you got any other seeds to start over with? never hear of the Q tip thing, sounds like the roots got burned from it

yeah I have seeds still. I have tried to learn alot from everyone but I also have learned from my mistakes to I checked out the plant and the color is good it's still getting bigger. I hope it don't die. Does anyone know of a good seed bank that you have used before and you can trust? If you need to you can mail me there name. The seeds I have been using have been from a bag they were kinda testers so I can get things going right and know what I am doing before I spend alot more $. The seeds I have been using were light brown to a dark brown or grayish color and fat. Most of them had stripes they looked alot better than the seeds I got out my last bag. They were compressed and I know they more than likely wont grow b/c of the cracks in them. Thanks for your reply.

Hey everyone, just checkin in. I thought about ordering seeds from a seedbank also puffpuffpasschick, but i'm a little worried about the whole process. Anyone that can give us a good bank and some ideas how to be sneaky about it would be great.

I have six 4 day old plants and they are doing pretty good so far. Just a little worried about a couple that are haveing a hard time pushing through the spongey fake soil stuff. I cut the sponge things in half before a put the germinated seeds in, i think that i should have split them verticly instead of in half. I can see some of the little sprouts coming off the main root is this OK? Will they eventualy go down into they water? One mor Q. How long should i leave the plastic dome pieces on?

You can also try shipping it to 'Current Resident' first/last name.

I can't vouch for any banks, haven't ever used one.

Leave domes on until the plants are almost touching it.

the AG offers alot. Just start the seed in damp towel, keep at eye on em. Some seeds pop in less that 24 hrs. This will alow you to thin the herd a little. Get the nice short fat tap root/ stem. If one drilled a hole through the center of the "rockwoll" it will start to grow the outward roots deeper into the rockwool and speed up foliage growth. I have a theory that for every leaf or flower there is a root. This would eplain a massive amount of root growth durring flowering, all the original leaf roots plus floer roots = big clump of roots. Start with half nute, the put other half in gallon jug filled with water. Used that jug to top it off. If plants look crappy change water, add nute. I think AG nutes may be on the weak side.

Hey everyone thanks for the reply. I did watch a thing on Youtube I think that was showing ways to not get cought by the cops. Said that if you order from seedbanks that the cops can get the records of those seeds that were bought. Also said if you do buy DON'T send them to the place where your stash is or yur growing room whatever. Pretty much don't seen them to anywhere the stuff is. As for the prepaid card comment that seems like a very good idea. As for the comment there is a root for each leaf that really sounds right. I did get my another one of my sprouts to pop up yesterday so thats nice it is health and happy looking already has two roots. My roots do have little roots starting to steming out of the other straight roots. Also update on the one that i thought might die. It's looking good and healthy and good color the brown part of the root fell off and now its just the white root. so its looking back to normal again. When my sprouts pop up I take the lid thingy off. Had to problem so far but I think its really whatever you want to do really. But on the other hand you all have been growing longer than me I am just saying what has been working for me.

hey i would say order from the attitude seed bank they have a great selection and they have a guranteed shiping method ..
so if ur order doesnt make it to u they will resend it untill it does but it does cost a lil extra that way but its worth it if ur droping alot of money and about police geting records this seedbank doesnt share any information with any third partys..
so there pretty stealth as long as u dont send them to were ur growing u should be good and also u could have a friend do it with his debit card and get them sent to his house if he doesnt have anything there hope this helped u out sorry for the long post but u cant go wrong with the attitude leo

Today when i checked out my plants i noticed that 2 of the 6 are not pushing through the sponge, so i took the plants out and cut the sponge verticaly and put the root in the split sponge. I hope that wont stunt there growth too much, but has to be better than them not able to get water.
Just putting that info out for anyone that wants to know.

It's day 9 and my plant survived what appears to have been lack of nutrients. I lost my starter nutes so I started my grow with ZERO nutes.. The first pic I attached is from day 6. On day 6 I woke up to find yellow discoloration at the tips of the two biggest leaves (I freaked out!!), I went to work and when I came back 8 hours later, the discoloration had spread to almost the entire leaf!!! I didn't know what to do so I added 1/2 a nutrient tab... Luckily, the discoloration was stopped in its tracks. It has been 3 days since then and the plant has continued to grow at a really FAST rate. The leafs that burned are no longer the main leaves.... soon they will be insignificant. JUST AN FYI - ALSO CURIOUS IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD SIMILAR ISSUES???

Dont cut any leaves until there about to fall off, dont cut them if you dont have to, you kno

Hey everyone. I was suprised when I went to go check on my AG today. I went to look at my one 5 day old plant and seen another one growing. Seems great right... Well I am worried b/c its the same pod in the AG. IDK if it was a seed that fell deep into it 2 weeks ago and I couldn't remove with the tweezers or what. I was going to remove one about a week ago when I planted this other seed that had sprouted. I am not sure if it was that pod or not though. I have heard of people planting one seed and two plants growing. Twins is what they called it but it was growing in a big bucket not the AG. I know the plants like to have there own root space so this makes me also worried. I know if this plant has sprouted and the two leaves have came up im sure it already have pretty big roots. Should I leave it and risk my other one dying? Pull it and kill it? Try to cut the pod and place it in another pod? Worried even if I pull it the roots it already has might do damage to the other 5 day old plant when the one I pull dies. Hope this makes since and you all get what I am saying. I know I need to do something fast if I am going to try and do something. I wanted 4 plants and hope that 3 would be female. But as of now I only have the 5 day old one and the 7 day old one. And this baby one that is with the 5 day old one in the same AG pod. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Well, are the roots really that tangled?

You can just take the pod out, take the grow net apart and just separate them and get a new sponge for the second one.

As long as you are careful and dont break any of the roots and move them delicately you should be fine.
