Question on FoxFARM oceanforest

Oh yes I have big grow.
Can I add the lime and the Big grow at the same time?

How much Lime do I add to the soil. I have them in 1 gallon containers. Do I sprinkle the lime or mix it with water?

I added 1 handful of dolmite lime per cubic foot of dirt. If you cna find the flour use less. I could only find the little rocks. They take longer to break down so use more. Dolomite lime is an awesome materail. It keeps at a neutral ph of 7, so is gradually neutralises your ph up which helps becasue pretty much everything else you put in your garden is acid, humic and so on.

you can add the dolomite when you formulate the soil or if you have already done that working some into the soil as much as you can, especially the flour, will sure help.


Also their are other sources of nitrogen that are organic. Home depot sells fish emulsion which is omri listed and 5-1-1 and also their is sunleaves batguan which is high N. Your grobig sounds fine. I would go with the guy who says to feed.

Can anybody tell me how long it will be until I start seeing some results. It has been 24 hours and the leaves at the top of the plant growing out is more yellow now. Help

If you listen to everyone on this forum and take it as gospel, you will lose your mind. Watch out for BAD information!!!!!!! I understand that people want to help, but they shouldn't try if they don't really know the answers.

Yes, there is something wrong with the girls, but over-doing things like nutes and such will only make your problems WORSE!! Until you know EXACTLY know the problem, you are better off holding out a bit til you are sure, rather than givin' em' shit they don't need. It is way easier to give them too much and possibly destroy the root system than to let the foliage suffer a little until you've nailed the issue. Keep updated!

And YES, you are absolutely correct about N deficiencies starting at the BOTTOM of the plant and working its way up. If you added the lime and epsom salt, which will not hurt in any way, just give it a little time and see how they react.

Here is an update from when I gave them the epsom salt almost 2 days ago. Here are two new pics THe top new growth looks more yellow and the leaves growing out at the nodes are growing yellow too. I do not see any sign of major nute burn or anything. I am guessing it is to early to see a small sign of them growing green. I have 10 of them and I am wondering if I should use one of them and water it with PHed water just so I can see what the Runoff PH is??
This shit is stressing me out. This is my 4th try on my second grow. I get to this stage and mess up everytime.

They all seem to be pretty consistent with the yellowing on top. How are your temps? cold nights, warm days?

Temps are around 78 degrees. Around 65 for two hours when lights are out. I have them under a 400 watt MH

I recalibrated my PH meter and it was reading 6.3 when I used it and after I callibrated it, I tested the same water and it was 5.5..so I am guessing its my PH..I am going to flush with 6.8 water until I get the soil right and then foilar feed with some revive and after the soil drys...I will give 1/4 big grow...Does that sound good?

Dude, did you add the lime? You WILL NOT have a ph issue if you add the lime. Those girls are too young for nutes in their fresh FF soil. If you have a deficiency, its because of your ph...What did you have them in b4 the FF?
