I posted before the election for folks not to get all caught up in the Presidential race, but to turn out every incumbent up for reelection. To no avail of course....people in their lather to vote against Bush wanted a super majority....and now we have one. Good grief!!! It's a train wreck and no one even knows where the brakes are.

Checked the stock market lately? Down over 20% since the election.... the market is not a snapshot of today but a 6 month window down the road. The misery hasn't even started yet.....and just look at us right now!

As for this being business as usual, I disagree. This was a monumental bill of utter babble and unsound economic principles. To pass such a historical bill (no matter how horrible or good) needs to be thoroughly gone over and debated. It was not. It's like Obama is going to turn the economic ship with dangerous shoals all around and he doesn't even bother to look at the charts. The crew follows suit and we are all going to end up aground. How bad the hull breach will be is still an open question. Whether we will founder is not. We will, the course has been set.
