Thanks for the advice old hippie! No, I can't see any tiny spots. I'm not sure whether to put them in sunlight because I don't know if the cause of the browning is either from heat stress or nutriburn. Any idea exactly how to find out? I might just wait and see what happens.
Sorry about that ugzkmk. I was trying to keep the post short and concise. Anyway, i don't know what soil type it is. I don;t know its pH level either. I just know it has pearlite in it and it used to have a mayana plant in it but I let it die so I could put my plant in it. The soil, however, is starting to become compact and hard. I water it about 4 times a day w/ a 5hr interval. I use a spray gun (?) to water it and I use just plain tap water. I let it stand overnight in an open container first to make the Cl evaporate. It recieves about 5-7 hours of direct sunlight. I don't add any fertilizers either. I don't monitor the temp outside but lately it's been fluctuating because of rainy and sunny weather. Is there any more info I should give to help diagnose the problem?
They really don't look that brown in the pics. You might be stressin out for nothing. Nutriburn - I never had a problem with over fertilizing and I added nutes every time I watered when I did it inside. Heat stress - maybe, if it was over about 95 degrees . How did you grow them, seeds or clones? Maybe the leaves grew a little too fast for what the roots could support.
