I bought a Kawasaki ZZR600 which is a bullet bke with out the super aggressive stance. It is super fun taking the bike out and taking it through the gears. 4 cylinder engines sure so wind up nice. I just got to watch myself in traffic so I don't get carried away with the rocket like acceleration.
I've always wanted to take a crotch rocket for a spin, just out of curiosity's sake.

I never rode a streetbike until i bought one off the showroom floor... That day i took my R1 home was an intresting day let me tell you! ...All i have to say is you have to understand how heavy the bike is, and the power... lol my bike would go to 90 mph in first gear in about 3 seconds. You cant even imagine how fast that is...

Take it slow if you ever do take one out

To add another note to my first day on a streetbike, I was on I-95 coming home and was nut hugging the gas tank.... BIG MISTAKE!!! I hit a joint going over a bridge at 80 and damn near wrecked my bike with 37 miles on it! Talk about pain!

Lol your kidding right? People never see motorcyclists... hell the first day i had my bike i counted being cut off 7 times. And thats just as bad imo.
I was more referring to people turning left or making a left turn onto the road you are currently traveling on.

My bike is a Sportster, my friend has a Dyna Wide Glide, since she got it, I don't play "off the line" with her anymore, she spanks me hard, every time.

When she had her 1200 sporty and mine being an 883, I used to always get her on "off the line" but not anymore.

I like to go fast, tearing through the gears racing is my favorite thing.

I guess it's what your used to, but the main difference is speed and handling. If you think your 883 is fast, a sport bike would blow your mind.
I have ridden both styles and what I can't get used to is riding with my feet out in front of me. I rode a friends fat boy one weekend, about 400 miles, and when the day was done my lower back absolutely killed me.I think most HD/cruiser bike riders don't really ride long distances, they are mostly for cruising around town and such.

I don't get lower back pain, I get "neck knot" where it hurts high up between your shoulder blades.

I prefer having my feet out in front of me, it's what I'm used to. To me laying down on the tank like that doesn't seem as though it would be comfortable. Having a passenger laying on my back seems even worse.

You know they make floor boards so you can have more of a sitting position while riding... Makes it look more like an old persons bike but its definetly more comfortable

I do, I have a passenger a lot. When it's warm I take my bike everywhere and my daughter goes with me most places, so she's always on the back.

Men stare and she giggles, "they think we're lesbians" then she leans n closer. It's fun to watch the open mouthed stares on mens faces.
