Are my clones screwed?

Ok so I took two 4 inch clones 2 weeks ago and they dont seem to be doing good. They seemed to need nutrients so I took them out of the humidty dome and rockwool and transplanted them in soil...heres were it gets tricky. When I split the rockwool open, where the stem was underneath the rockwool turned into one big root looking think with little baby roots coming from this huge root looking thing. I placed the clones in little 2 1/2 gallon pots and its on the second day in the soil but not looking too good (looks the same as before transport no better/worse). Do I want to water the soil or spray the leaves of the clones? Here are some disturbing pics of my little clone babies (its yellowing were I cut the leaves to induce rooting). ANY ADVICE WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

PS up the second half of the stem is purple and purple lines are streaking the stem in general

Give that clone a week to settle in. I wouldn't use nutes yet just water lightly.

Ya they seem to be growing new branches were there old leaves died and spreading up top. But how much do I water them? Do I water the whole soil or just where the clones sit? NO NUTES FOR SURE!

Water around the clone till they fully root. A spray bottle is perfect for this. You dont want to drown them because roots grow in SEARCH of water, if the water is always there the roots grow slower. You want to find that balance so they are getting enough water to stay alive, but also only giving enough that they grow fresh roots searching for water. Let the soil dry out between waterings and mist around the clones with a spray bottle for the first few days.

They look totally fine to me, at least they Can be. I got some that looked worse than that a few weeks ago, they are nice and healthy now.

When I say around the clone I mean around the clone, get a spray bottle and mist the soil around the stalk of the clone. Only if it looks like it needs it. You should mist the clones a bit too, but not too often.

After about 3-4 days you can put them on a regular water schedule. Feed a lot of water, then let the soil dry out for a few days before watering again.

I think most people over worry about clones, they are freaking Resilient man, they look like they are growing new growth so they are just waiting to take off with some massive new growth.

Heres the clones I got a couple weeks ago

Here they are now, nice and healthy. I only kept 2, I didnt need the extra. (2 of the ones in the clear container)

Or I can let them die....I heard you should let them do there thing until you can pull the leaves off, and I can't yet :wall:
I just leave them alone when they are young clones. The clones are burning nutes in the lower leafs for energy. Until you start feeding with nutes leave them alone.
