PH up and down for Freshwater Aquariums

I have a simple question. Is it possible to use PH up and down products that you can buy from Petsmart/Petco that are for freshwater aquariums?


If not, Can someone list some stores that sell it (non hydro stores if possible to prevent markup)

the stuff i got from the pet store seems to work better it is just my opinion from personal experience
