19 Purple Erkle Clones + 1000W

Flowering is upon us! We started flowering yesterday by changing out the light for an HPS bulb set at 12/12. We also switched to our flowering nutrients- Bio Flores, Bio Boost, and Cannazym. Next week we will start using Purplemaxx once a week as well. We are also going to use molasses at 2 Tbsp/gallon from weeks 3 to 6, and Gravity flower hardener at week 5 as well. Here are some pictures, let us know what you think.

Beautiful! I cant wait to see those juicy purps nugs! So do you have any plans to bring out the color? Purple max, tempurature change, etc.

It's gonna start getting hotter, so I doubt we'll be able to cool the room to bring out the color. We're hoping the Purplemaxx will do it, plus the fact that it's Purple Urkle haha. If anyone has other tips to bring out color, let us know

You should get good colors just as long as the plant is healthy with that strain. Also the longer they flower the more color you will get.

Try House and Gardens Top Max, read up on what the product does. It's just speculation but I think it may be beneficial to purple strain growers who are looking for lots of color. You're flowering time will be prolonged but your yield should be increased and you might get better colors.

Check into it. Good luck.

We have quite a bit of nutrients already, not sure I'd like to add many more. Also, from reading the description it sounds like Purplemaxx and Gravity will do the same things. These also increase uptake of nutrients and stimulate resin production and larger, denser flowers.

very nice clones m8! how long did you veg the clones before u hit 12/12?! Thanx!

We vegged them for 6 weeks. Yesterday while observing one of the smaller plants i accidently snapped the main stem about 5 inches from the top. I used duct tape to tape it back together and hold it in place, is there anything else I can do?

The lights just turned on and I checked on the snapped part. It's a pretty bad snap, the whole stem is snapped except for a tiny piece near the edge. The snapped parts looks really droopy, I doubt it's going to make it.

At worst I'll just pull it off and some new tops will form. Thank god these plants are so branchy.

We decided to just pull of the part of the broken stem, looks like no harm was really done to the plant. All the rest are looking great, they are still growing about an inch or so per day. Hopefully they'll get to 2 feet before they top out.

Got another update for everyone. So to start off, we are using so much water and nutrients that we just mix them in a large trash can now. We are still using Bio Flores, Bio Boost, Cannazym, and Rhizatonic, and we just start using Purplemaxx once every week. Here's some pics of us mixing up the nutes.

Here's some more shots of the garden, the plants are about 21 inches tall or so now. I think they will definately get to 2 feet before topping out.

And lastly, here's the secret to our success: We read our plants stories out of High Times.

hahaha, nice fucking work and fucking hilarious pics reading to the plants....i got both of those high times layin on my coffee table right now..the garden is looking magnificent, keep up the green work..

So we've made a few changes to our room, most notably building an actual window box instead of simply having a sheet of plywood held up against the window. This box has made our venting system much more effective. Here are a few pics of the new set-up. In a week or two we plan on adding another inline fan along with a carbon filter to the other side of the hood to deal with the smell.

And even better news, we're sitting on 24's now. 24 inch plants that is. The first signs of buds are starting to show already, and some of the stems are beginning to turn purple. We just started using molasses today, and will continue to use it up until we flush at week 6.

That's it until next time, enjoy!

fucking beautiful as usual brothas!! i'm soo jealous of you cali bastards, it makes me sick! haha :weed:
keep up the green work.

what are you doing with your purple maxx?just watering or do you foilar feed with it?

the dude at my local hydro supply shop said it works great as a foilar feeder and he said to foilar feed every night the last few days of flowering to see real results!

i foilar fed once but im not so sure about it i really dont wanna be spraying my girls and getting mold or something lol

As of right now we just use purplemaxx once a week with our watering. You must be careful with purplemaxx as it causes "massive root uptake" which means you cut your other nutrients back to 1/3 their normal amounts to avoid nute burn. I've never heard of foliar feeding with it but that might be something that look into as we get closer to harvest. I wouldn't be too worried about getting mold, we regularly spray with Soyanora and Safer bug sprays and haven't had any signs of mold. I guess it depends on your set-up, humidity, etc
