Hey guys, quick question I am having some sort of ph issue, Unsure if its high or low. How do I test the ph of my water and fert because once I add the fertilizer, it will change the the color on the indicator strip. Does anyone know of any digital PH testers that are cheap thanks

pH meters are pretty expensive however if you grow on a large scale it can be very useful. I suggest you go to your local garden store and get a pH kit.

Get the pH of your soil.
Prepare a mixture of your garden soil in a completely rinsed and clean container using distilled water. This mix should have the consistency of thick mud. Some soil test kits include more detailed instructions on how to mix your sample.

For the ph of your water Buy a pH test from the fish store. Popular pH test kits include the Instant Ocean test kit, Marine pH & Alkalinity Multi Test Kit or High pH & Alkalinity Test Kit. The test kit costs about $10 and has anywhere from 30 to 75 tests per kit.
