i was wondering how often you guys foliar feed.
1 in veg time, 2 in flowering and how far along do you guys foliar feed.
i stopped doing it to a plant i have thats about 3 weeks from done, even though fox farm told me id never know the diff, as in id never taste it in the smoke.

input?

is it ok to spray onto a flower? or am i putting chemicals into the flowers? should i go one floiar with nutes then the next without? or maybe foliar feed with just plain clean water for the last month?

I use a foilage spray twice a day, AFTER I raise my lights up. AFTER they are aobut dry, I lower my lights back.
Remember, in nature, when it rains, the sun's rays are blocked by clouds. AND you do not want to spray the lights.

I never MIST or Foilage spray in FLOWER Cycle. I am afraid of bud mold and rot.

You can carefully spray just the leaves not the buds works well when only growing tops then yiy can spray the leaves below the nugs
never never the nugs themself

i was watching the show on national geographic explorer and they were spraying it right onto the buds. if you have a fan going good and its warm with no humidity then bud rot wouldnt be such a worry right? but thanks guys, im gonna stop spraying the plants i have in flower. and just start hitting the leafs......by the way when a leaf is turning color from dark green to light green turning yellow, i read something yesterday that said once those leafs are turning they are no longer providing anything to the plant.....it seems that early on in flower all the fans at the bottom of the branches are yellowing and falling off.....have you guys heard the whole argument that those leafs are no longer any worth to the plants?

What if half the leaf is crispy and the other half is yellow? Don't plants put energy into sick or dying leaves?
if thats the case pick it i do and my plants dont give a damn when i pick the bad ones.. if its yellow and crispy its not doing its job anymore and its taking sum energy from the new growth

I agree! The yellow dieing leaves towards the bottom half of the plant should be removed because there taking vital nutrients, which in turn they don't need cuz its just a waist.

i took the majorly f-ed ones off, but if its half alive im leaving em...there are so many different opinions on here, and its crazy because for every person who grows some kick ass shit doing it "right", theres some dude growing kick ass shit doing it "wrong" a lot of it comes down to prefference i guess.

On Nat GEO they were applying pesticides not foilar feeding, That was probly neem oil or some other safe pesticide. No need to spray buds with water. only during vegg unless you are treating a problem. or BUGS

thanks. i stopped the foliar feeding. the thing about the humidifier is , wont it keep too much moisture in the buds and start to rot it? when i foliar. theres a fan blowing so they arent wet for long..bud rot scares me. so i backed off wetting them except for the dirt obviously. im also backing off on the nutes. so its one watering with nutes. then one without. and im still gonna foliar feed all the babies.
