By the way KAZE even with your leaves like that your Buds look amazing, I would be happy with my baby if she turned out like that.

By the way what kind of of nutes are you using and what the percent of calcium and mg in it?

Im using Fox farm Grow Big trio line
With Hydro Grow Big 3-2-6

2.0% calcium
1.0% mg

So am i lacking Mg? should i just go with the epsom salt? dont wanna add 2 much calcium and lock out Mg.

Thanks I will be starting a flush tonight on my girl and harvesting in about 14 days.

This is my first grow and by no means would I say Im an expert. Just giving you my leasons learned so far.

I use General Hydro Flora Nuets. I have added their Koolbloom in the flower stage and then the cal/mag in both flower and Veg.

I fought the same issue until I added the Cal/Mag I never tired the epson salt routine.

My suggestion is don't mess with the system to much. Make your changes and see what happens. It want happen over night in most cases.

If my problem comes back in my next grow I may try the Epson salt routine.

I'll take that bet with anyone who wants to put it up! U just told someone how to intensify their problem, thanks a lot... U can tell it is ca def because the necrosis is outlined with a lighter shade of brown. If u add more mg u will only make the problem worse.

Where is my harvest?:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke:

PS, Calmag is Nitrogen and trace minerals too, not just expensive Ca, and mg...

actually more mag is not gonna lock out calcium. how do you figure that anyways? that makes no sense.

i had the same issue with some of my plants, i treated it just fine with mag and tap water.

you wwont make the leaves that are already fucked up look better. thats not going to happen. what you will do is prevent more damage from occuring.

thanks for the advice...It's all really helpfull and i agree with it being a severe calcium deffincy. Im gonna wait another day or 2 since i just recently did a flush, so far i havent seen any sign of it geting beter or worse. Im gona go ahead a do another flush and let her sit in some distilled/tap water 130ppm w/ some trace minerals in it. I got some new nutes House & Garden Aqua Flakes and gonna switch over, The fox farm line seems Great but the Big bLoom leaves the water brown and Cloudy and grabs hold of the roots , so what look like junk on the roots could be food , so im just gonna switch over all together to avoid the hassle of not knowing. Thank again for everyone help I am trying all advice narrowing it down to what will work.......maybe let her sit in some distilled/tap water and some cal-mag for a day? If all else fails I have deffinetly learned alot..........

Actually magnesium can lockout calcium. Mg bonds to Ca. Like a chelator. And causes ca lockout.

But i think flushing it in water and calmag for a while is a good idea. But i believe if you get the nutrient ppms right that all the nutrient problems will cease. (also r/o water has little to no calcium) Lamp.

Oh also i hate brown/organic hydro nutes. They are good stuff but they clog everything and stain roots/res.

Hi I need some help in this area too! When adding epsom salts to bubbleponic system... do I add 1/2 tsp. per gallon in the tote itself? I use 18 gallon tote. Do I add 4.5 tsp. directly? I will mix foilar feed and do that until I verify! Thanks!
