ya save up and get those 6500k in there as soon as possible i mean the others wont kill it but they will not grow fast at all very slow. they are way cheap man liek 3 bucks a bulb. if u were to use 4 26 watt 6500k instead i think u would be very happy! i did the same thing starting with the 2 42 watt 2700k... 1 month into grow not even 5 inches tall. i bought some of those lights and saw results the next day. i will be subscribing to this thread and follow u along ur journey and help ya along the way with wat i can.:leaf::bigjoint:

the light coming from those bulbs is puttinmg almost no- usefull light to ur plants at this stage of there life. its more of a blue light ur lookin for. red/orange look = flowering and blue = veg

Yes grew from seed and they are 3 weeks old. Im using 2x 24 w@ 6500k. / blue

When i flower i will use 4x 24w @2700k / red.
Quick question, from what you see im thinking i will let them go another 4 weeks then clone them to find out sex.

Think that will work out find?

yeah for sure if they keep growing at that rate but if they slow down get some fertilizer or more light!!:weed:

I really don't know I just bought 100 seeds from a buddy for 5 bucks and all of them have worked so far

Your "buddy" sold you bag seeds? UGH. I guess a friend in need is a friend indeed, as long as he has cash? Charge your "buddy" 5 bucks for every toke off your yield. Better yet, tell him where he can germinate the rest of his seeds. Hint: put seeds on the tip of your shoe, have him turn around....

WTF i dont get any of that lol..but no rlly it was my buddy..lol:shock:

Yeah i have seen a little improvement in the plants leaves getting bigger etc... but since i added more lights the temperature went up to like 87 degrees which seems a little high...What does everyone think the best temp. is????? Oh AND WHAT IS SOME GOOD FERTILIZER FOR SEEDLINGS LIKE MINE???

u can look for some stuff thats called jumpstart but besides that i wouldnt feed em yet. but if u do make it like 1/8th the strength to start out with. hmm do u have a small fan in the box for air movement? 87 should be ok mayb try to keep at around 85. but no big worries. since ur new to growing i would recomend the foxfarm brand ferts untill u get to know exactly wat the plants needs and how to read them. then i would recomend some stuff call supernatural... for the exp grower but damn good stuff. if i missed somethin let me know or i can try to go into detail on stuff if u need.

Yeah i have a small fan and i just cut another big whole in the side for more ventalation. Also I lined the entire box in tin foil and watered today. Yeah I will probably wait at least a few weeks to use ferts.... thanks though

So after 2 weeks they are looking pretty good. Most of them have 8-10 leaves and are nice and green. Also since putting in 4 6500k cfl's they have grown significantly. I put another whole in for ventalation and finished putting tin foil all over the inside of the box. The temperature sometimes gets scary high like 95 but does usually drop to 85 or 90. I just started 18/6 light tonight which hopefully is a good thing. I promise some pics tomorrow!!!:blsmoke:
