I'm a gamer! Mostly I play games on my computer or my PS2... but my PS2 is busted at the moment so ... I've been playin' lots of Valve games (Team Fortress, Team Fortress 2, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, etc.) ... I typically play RPGs, though... that's where I get my groove on.

I used to be an rpg fan but there aren't that many good ones out on the computer and i can't really afford a ps3. i'm final fantasy fan.

but my alternative is strategy games. empire total war just came out and it's pissing me off because it's not working. i'm having a nvidia driver conflict that they haven't fixed yet.

I like the old school FF games. Like FFVI (Or FF3 for the SNES)... that's my favorite out of the entire series. Yeah, sure, VII was badass... but FFVI was just pure gaming gold.

nVidia cards cause lots of problems with games for some reason. At least, in my experience. I've got a relatively new card that didn't want to run The Sims 2... even though it's perfectly capable. Took me forever to get things going, dammit.

yeah but i switched to nvidia because i've had a lot of bad experiences with ati.

i haven't played any of the ff games since 10.

I played FF12, but was pretty unimpressed. It wasn't GREAT, but it wasn't a bad game either. 10 was amazing, though... and I'd avoided playing it for years because I thought the addition of voice acting would make it shitty. Turns out I was wrong!

well it was kind of weird because they always talked but since you could input your own name they never really talked to you. i haven't played 10 2 though.

i really see no difference in both 360 N ps3 except for the great exclusive game titles offered on each platfrom.

but the main reason to get one is to get Metal Gear Solid 4, by far one of the best games out to date.

here are each of the best games out for the ps3 N 360

360 - left 4 dead, halo 3, too human
ps3 - mgs4, resistance 1 and 2, RE5, killzone

some great games on both, fallout 3, dead space,Mercs2, gta4.

ok so i just found older drivers for my gaphics card that would work with etw. I've been playing it all day and damn is it fun.

I played the original one that came out in the 90's (i think that's when it came out) it was stupid and amusing.

I had the 2nd game in the mid 90s. It was so weird and so terrible and so funny all at the same time... instant classic!

I've seen the new RE5 game being played... made me kinda angry as it's NOT a 'survival horror' game, it's a 3D shooter. Not that 3D shooters are bad things... it's just I was expecting a true survival horror-style thing.

Anyone here ever play 'Rule of Rose'? Possibly the most terrifying and fucked up game EVER MADE.

WTF? Dude on page two said sega was the first gaming system? I'm pretty sure it went atari, nintendo, sega, sony, nokia then microsoft, I am stoned though, so don't hold me to it.

I played Continuum for 8 years, almost from the start. It's 2D but very very addictive (8years! :lol:) And it's completely free of charge. Played mostly the T3 Gauntlet arena which is very fast paced. Played on THC squad of course!! :mrgreen:
