I have them in good grade BM1 soil, and under 2 different kinds of lights until my other lights get here this weekend... Then they will be under 2 different floro lights that are 4' long and each one has 4 bulbs in it....

The first 2 plants came up almost right away, they broke through by the next morning but its been 3 days since then (day #4) and still no other ones, and these 2 that came up are working on there 3rd set of leaves now... Nice purple colored stems (purple/red and fat)...

They also seem to get real dry a couple of hours after watering them, i am watering every 2 days and misting in between (about once a day) but they seem real light and dry with the peat pots....

Had another one break the surface lastnight but was still bent over so i figured it would be standing straight when i woke up, but its still bent over like it was when it broke through...

Gonna water them today since i only misted yesterday... Hope this revives it and its ok!! :o

germinate them right and you will get 100% results every time.

why does every one seem to think that cuz you plant a seed it is going to sprout, they all are not going to. if they don't sprout within a week they won't.goodluck

my seeds alwats sprout in 3-4 days always and i have never had a seed not sprout in this time period but i rescently had an argument with some user who told me i was talking shit and that seeds can take up to 3 weeks to sprout.i did not believe this so i done a bit of research and found this to be the case but it did say that this delayed germinating time is caused by old seeds possibly over a year old.
i will find it and add it to this thread.

Heres why i was wondering...

All my seeds germintated in 2 days in paper towels and paper plates like i always do, so when they were done in planted them...

2 came up the next morning and 1 more this morning, Today is day #4.... So 3 out of 12 sprouted in 4 days, will the rest come up or are they finished?

just scroll down the book untill you get to page 66.

7.2 Requirements for Germination
Before the seed fell, almost all of its water was sapped to prepare the seed for winter. With only the tiny drop that it holds, the embryo lives a life so slow as to be outside of time as we know it. Cannabis seeds need only water to germinate or sprout. The seeds germinate without light and at temperatures low enough to form ice. Higher temperatures hasten germination. Fresh, homegrown Oaxacan seeds germinated in three days at 70F and in eight days at 33F. Temperatures 70 to 90F are best for germination.
Fresh, mature seeds have a high rate of germination (about 90 to 100 percent) and sprout quickly. Usually sprouts appear three to seven days after planting. Older seeds (over a year, depending on storage) have a lower rate of germination and respond slower. They may take up to three weeks to sprout. To get an idea of what to expect from the seeds follow the procedure in 3.1.
Seeds that do sprout will grow normally, no matter how old they are or how long they take to sprout. From any batch of seeds, most of the ones that sprout will do so within two or three days of each other. A few will continue to come up as many as six months later, but the garden should consist of plants that are basically the same age and size. This makes the garden easier to care for.

i think your germinating methods could be the problem.
the paper towel method really sucks and is the main cause of fucking things up from the get go.
(just my opinion).

Yeah its not the best method but it works and its easy, all 12 seeds had split and grew by the next day... then i waited until the taproot was about 1/2" to plant them...
I know they are not all going to grow even though they all germinated but i hoped for a higher rate then 3 out of 12... Oh well they were free anyways so what ever, ill just make clones if i get any females...
