I've almost never seen a plant grown out from a dispensary clone that was anywhere near the phenotype of the claimed strain.
I've seen somewhere between 10-15 different strains from dispensaries that were grown out and clearly not what they were labeled as. Problem is that there's no tracing the genetics when clones are given out so freely.
My friend just rid himself of 20 "Bubba Kush" clones. They look like Bubba Kush, and the guy that sold him the clones from the dispensary said they were Bubba Kush and now he's got them in a differnet dispensary as Bubba Kush. Does this really count as a reliable way to pass down genetics as real?
A lot of commercial growers x strains and they just make up a new name and that name becomes popular so people start selling their bud as that, it's really aweful.

I wish I didn't live in florida man I can't wait to move to colorado. I would still buy seeds from the internet though. I have heard alot of people talking about dispensary having shitty stuff. Get you some good seeds off the internet and pick mothers out of your favorite strains and clone the shit out of them.

That's what summer's going to be all about. Just popping seeds, growing mothers and dumping clones to dispensaries, but at least they will be real ones. That way when the weather cools back down I'll be ready to flower giant mothers and start vegging lots of clones. Sounds like a summer well spent in CFL land.

yeah, I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. Growing in my closet during the summer would 2 HPS lights would be a bitch. And at some point I want to put the work into these seeds to get what I want out of them. Not just grow a ton of plants and flower them taking numerous clones, but to only take clones from the strongest mother. I want the rest of my batches to be from strong genetics and every summer I'll probably change up strains and drop some. Take the best performing strains with the best smoke and between me and boys we'll keep the strains alive.
I'm down to search the 126, but They don't have tall trees. You might be able to get away with something if you start it later in the summer so it finished around 4-5 ft, but you can't go out there planting at the beginning of March like it's the Sequoia's.
Lemon trees aren't the best cover. We can always check it out though.

For some reason I've never been a fan of outdoor bud. It always seems like lower grade stuff to me. It's possible it's only because it's often poorly dried and cured, but something about it just doesn't set well with me. I like good indoor grown bud, just a crazy thing I guess.

I dunno, just something about it that doesn't excite me. I know it's strange, but something about the uniformity of colors, it just never seems to have much character. I don't look at outdoor buds and go DAYYYYYUMMMMM other than yeild.WHO DOESNT LIKE GOOD INDOOR WEED?!?! lol

and that came off of a plant that yielded like 5+ pounds. Cant beat that

I'm going to try to grab some pictures at lunch today. I haven't posted any pics in 6 days...pretty crazy I guess. I couldn't find my camera this morning, so I'm a little concerned, but when I do, picture time. I might make a little video for youtube. I have one of my setup, but I've never posted it.

Why would local authorities want to trace me? To find my legal grow? These websites have the same problem, if you are growing illegally or you are concerned that someone might see what you are doing, don't post it on the internet anywhere.
If it's all good an legal I don't really care if Joe Sherriff see's it. Joe Sherriff can kiss my black ass and he better show up with a warrant. And that judge better be ready to defend why he sent a state officer to my house to fuck with me.
