Here are some Violator Kush Im growing. These are only two of many I have going. I started these from seed and brought them up in my veg room. I moved them outside about 2 weeks ago when they were alittle over a foot tall. I have them in 18 gallon totes with holes drilled in them. For the soil I used MG organic garden soil, perlite, worm castings, bonemeal, bloodmeal, lime, top soil, and cow manure. Louisiana's weather is a bit odd. Begining of summer is very dry up till hurrican season when its constanly raining. So drainage is a big factor especially since where I have them going is kinda swamp land. Towards the end of summer I will probably move the plants into my barn where I have ac to help against mold issues during flower. Besides the Violator kush I have PPP going and some power skunk. Ill try to keep updates on all of them. Anyways the two plants in the pics. One is about 2 1/2 foot tall and the other is 3 feet tall. I have them planted so they are surrounded by thorns. They are almost the same color of the weed and look alot like it with the fan leaves and all. The third pic is of the thorns just to give ya an idea. I have the plants scatered around 50 acres I have. All of them are in deep woods where I have found clearings from fallen trees and for now they seem to give good amount of sunshine for the plants. But as the leaves start to grow on the trees Im either gonna become a lumberjack or move the plants. Depends on how bad the situation is. I dont anticipate a problem but ya never know. Around some of the plants I have solar powered electrical fence to keep animals away such as deer, boar, etc. But alot of the plants just have my piss around it. I try to drink a big cup of coffee before I head back to check on them just to make sure I have a steady supply of pee. The past 3-4 days it rained on and off. Most of the area around my plants is flooded but I have the totes on top of a few logs for this reason. My soil mixture contains around 20% of perlite for drainage and the past few days was its first test and it did better then expected. So anyways here we go and hopefully I get some 15 footers out of the deal.

I couldnt find the pic I was looking for lastnight on my comnp but I did just find it now by accident. Anyways this is a pic of both of these plants when I repotted them from there 1 gallon containers into the 18's. The totes I bought at walmart for 8 dollars apiece. But they are pretty bright green so I bought some camo spray paint which I know spray all of them before I put the plants and soil in. But with these two I already had them potted before I bought the paint. I just covered them the best I could and when I was finished I didnt notice any overshot paint on the plants. But who knows.

How big do you want them to get? Whens harvest time?
I'd like to get them atleast 10'. But hopefully closer to 15. Im gonna hold off as long as I can till harvest. The weather is going to dictate this though. If we have any hurricanes coming in then I will move them to my horse stables for more safety from the wind. So if they have to moved early then thats when they are going to have to be put into flower cause Im only moving these bastards once. I mean Im sure Ill probably make adjustments of a few feet once trees get more leaves in order to get optimal sunshine but that will only be a couple feet. These pots werent exactly fun moving when it was just the little plants and all the dirt so I can only imagine when they are big. So really this grow is most likey going to be outdoor and then turn into indoor.

:bigjoint:Gotta have high hopes. If I was to think that all this work of mixing soil, buying all the stuff that goes into it, and lugging these damn things around was for little plants then well I may not even try. I have 4 months to hurricane season. So about 4 more months of veg. That would be almost 7 months of veg time. alittle over 2 1/2 months gave me 7 footers so......Im a hoping.

Well today I had 2 shitty things happen. For one I found out some bad news about the hydro store I go to. Turns out that the owner was an informant for the DEA a few years ago and had a customer busted. So now I need to reevaluate some situations. Then on top of that I was starting to think one of my so called ladies was thinking of becoming a man, and sure as shit today it was confirmed. Its the plant in the second picture in the first post. It grew some balls. Well Im 99.9% sure it was a dude and I figured it was better to kill one then to risk the whole crop. I ripped him out tied some fishing string around him and a rock and tossed him in my pond. I didnt want to take the risk of breaking open one of the pollen sacks. Anyways I moved some more out yesterday and will put up some pics. Im also getting more ready tonight and will get somer pics of those as well.

Just thought Id get some pics of all the work that goes into just getting the plants ready for outside. I got 16 repotted since lastnight. Where I mixing the dirt at in my stables is set up kinda like a tub. Its was made for washing horses so it has a 5" lip going around the whole thing with a drain in the middle. Hmm...possibly a huge ebb&flo situation in the future.

Well we have been threatend with rain now for the past two days but still waiting...I wanted to get more ready for outside but it seems Ive bought all of walmarts totes. So now I have to wait. If they dont get any in in the next couple days Im gonna step it up to 30 gallon rectangle rubbermaid boxes. I dont really wanna do this cause thats 1/3 more soil and extras I need to buy as well which definetly adds up. Then there is the whole moving these big ass containers through thorns and wetlands/swamp. I was gonna take a picture of the other day when I had my 18' trailer full ofr weed I just transplanted. I thought it was pretty impressive. Also my biggest girl is now 3 1/2' tall. If the rain isnt here tomorrow I will take some pics of some plants. Its getting congested out there in the woods, Im trying to keep them seperated as much as I can and Im already forgetting about plants. But in my defense my mother inlaw is down here visiting so when my wife takes her and goes shopping I have to make a mad dash for the woods and try to check all my plants(some are just starting to preflower), and make sure no bugs or anything else is bothering them. Then its a run for the growroom to check the hydro. So once she leaves next week I will start taking more pics and taking better care of the women.

Well the rain finally came. But I did get out there and check on my plants. Good thing I did as another one turned into a man. I took pictures of my biggest plant so far she is just hitting alittle under 4'. We will call her A. Then the other pic is of E. Then some pictures are of all the shit I gotta walk through to even get out there and check on em. So the first two pics are of A the second two are of E and the last two are of the conditions

you should plant the plants in the ground, the buckets make it obvious that something is there growing.if they were in the ground you wouldnt beable to see them:shock:

Nice Work 2C!

I would not put those totes in the ground, but what I would do is paint them camo, mossy oak breakup makes camo applications. you can do your own with spraypaint though too. but if you hide them too well, then even you might loose it to the undergrowth!

Also if you have not used the MG Organic soil before, a warning that it retains moisture longer than it should. You have ammended your soil well and the plants do not show any signs of root problems. Just keep an eye it.

Looks great, def watching this one. +Rep for all of your backbreaking work!

Hey thanks for the rep.

Wackymack: I cant bury in ground to do three main reason. First being the soil is horrible. Its mostly very hard clay. The second reason is that most of the places is swamp for a couple months out of the year so that wouldnt be good. With these pots I just raise the up as the water rises. Thirdly I may need to move them into my horse stables come hurricane season.

Notsinabuds: Yep the first plants I put out;A,B,C the pots were a green color so I just touched up on them. The rest of my pots have been spray painted with the camo color spray paints. They turned out great. As for water retention. I started my mix with 20% perlite but on the last few its almost 25% perlite. Water is draining pretty quickly so far so hopefully it stays this way. In a couple months its gonna start raining all the time so it needs to have good drainage. Thanks for your advice.
