Ok, ill get pics up later tonite, maybe im just stupid but...

Ive looked at a lot of pics of over watering and under watering and they all seem to be unclear, other then both can be described from drooping and possible yellowing?

Whats the deal how to tell the difference?

My sun leaves are perfectly horizontal and so is the 3rd set of leaves, but the 2nd set wich is actually the biggest leaves are arched over like the McDonald's logo...

I have them in jiffy pots so they do get real dry, but i have been watering them once every other day, and lightly misting on the off day...

I hate these jiffy pots but ill get some pics up later, maybe we can clear up some questions others might have too, i know all the watering articles are very unclear!! :joint:

Under-watered leaves are lifeless and limp. Over-watered leaves get this way after being over-watered too long(and probably turn yellow, bottom-up), initially they are more rigid and full of life, but curling down. Over-watered leaves feel moist/shriveled, under-watered leaves feel thin and dryer.

Hope this helps! Happy growing.

Is your soil wet or is it dry? Has it been wet or has it been dry overall? Are your pots heavy or are they light? Jiffy pots are a bad choice to make.

I don’t even start plants out in small pots. You risk a root-bound condition and things like you are dealing with and you have to handle your plants more and each time you risk shock and damage so I just start out my plants in the largest sized pot they would otherwise have ended up in and I never have to touch them. It is easier and safer and cheaper because you need fewer supplies.

Im hoping to take pictures later tonight, and at risk of not confusing people i wont go into too many details but heres the deal....

JIFFY = JUNKY!!! :evil:

Bad choice but found out too late....

Pots are really light weight and i haven't touched the plant to feel the leaves or anything ill do that when i go to take pictures...

Im watering once a day; one time watering next day misting.... I think it might be under watered because they still look healthy and full of life and the color is right on, they just arch up and then back down, looks like mcdonalds logo, dont know how to describe it until i get pics...

Temp is between 65-75f and about 40% RH

Oh yeah and its only doing this in the 2 oldest plants, they turned 7 days old today, the other 4 that have sprouted are fine looking but they are only about 2 days old so its harder to tell with them...:joint:

The First (2) pictures are plant A and the Last (2) pictures are plant B

They are both 7 days old and no there not turning yellow, that was the shitty desk lamp i put them under to take the pics...

Whats your opinions on the subject all y'all experts!! Am i just being an over protective bad parent? They weren't arched like this last night...

bongsmilie Also cant see it in the pictures, but ever since they were like a day old the stems have been a red maybe semi purple color but i heard this can be normal, is that correct as well?

Thanks good to know they are ok, i was worried when i saw them arched over, maybe its just the weight cause they were standing straight out then they arched over when i woke up that day and it just made me nervous but they still look good today...

It's odd they seem to have slown down a bit in the last couple of days, and the new seedlings that came up are growing way slower then the 2 big ones did when they came up... Maybe i just need to stay away from them for a little while, and not check on them so often... bongsmilie:mrgreen:

What if they have symptoms of both LOL? But seriously they are: initially they are more rigid and full of life, but curling down AND leaves feel thin and dryer...? PH issue? RH issue?
