alright hey all. this isnt so much a question from myself but im asking for my bro cause he saw how successful my grow of bag seed was and he wants to start his own grow but his mom is hesitent. (for the record no specifics but he is not the stoner that lives at home all his life good reasons for being at home just i shouldnt mention them on here) but his mom smokes and lets us smoke in the house and outside when shes around and she also has attempted growing but does anyone have any advice as to a major selling point so that his mom will let him start his garden? thanks alot guys and hopefully we can get another grower on here soon =D

One big factor in my mind is the fact that if you can get quality seeds, you know you will always have your own stash of good smoke. You won't have to resort to going to some dealer on the street just to end up getting dirt weed.
oh yeah man thats what we've been sayin and i already said id let him have a couple blue cheese and a couple skunk 1 that i had leftovers of but i think she is just afraid of the legal counsequences is there any way that we could persuade her? his set up is in his attic which is just used for storage so i mean really theres like 99.9% safe (always leaving that .1 just in casehaha)

toker1505 right on with that one bro that's why im doing it now!! my money is staying here!!our government is to f%^& up to see this or they just don't want too!! billions going over there cost then nothing to grow it and there taking our cash by the fist fulls!! it is breaking the U.S.!!

I'm a laid off professional needing something to do besidse worry about a job that I don't have anymore!
But I'm happy to have this time with my new hobby
I'm thankful for this site to have others to talk to about my gro with, it's hard when you can't talk about it!!!
yeah i hear that i mean lets be honest the government needs to just legalize bud to begin with tho, can you imagine how many non growing pot smokers there are out there imagine if the government just taxed bud like they do cigarettes we could probably generate enough revanue to at least begin to dig our way out of this recession. but whats up with you guys got any grows underway? if so whats goin on with them i just love having other people to talk grow with cuz you never can tell anyone that lives around you becuz of risk of getting caught but hey good luck with anything u guys got going

Yes, I agree free the weed!!!! I think if enough people generate enough noise then more can be done. It's people like me who are closet tokers that don't exercise our rights and end up letting others fight the fight for us, that's why we end up with no rights! We are going to have to make a stand! If professionals who smoke on a regular basis would be brave enough to talk about it then we would have our proof that it doesn't hurt to have something besides harmful tabacco, alcohol and prescription drugs to relax our nerves!!!!
I am new at it, I have been trying since before Christmas! I saw a youtube video, Mr. Green and thought, man I can do that...I have finally realized that it is much harder than it looks! I have three 2 1/2 week old bag seed plants, that just came out of the aero garden into the homemande ebb & flo. I had a little trouble with seeds, I'm hoping to get a female and do cloning. In the mean time I have been doing research, on grows on RIU, that really helps!!!
I messed up by not doing enough research before I began growing, I bought a clear see through tray for my ebb & flo and now I have to redo it. You need a dark tray so you don't get light in the drain tray. I devieated from what is suppose to be done. I think I can cover it up with black plastic, not sure about that tho. I am trying to find out without having to read to much!! lol.

yeah man if we can all stand together and make some real noise then we may have a shot to progress the legalization obviously it wont happen over night but it is definitly possible to see it happen in the coming decade or so if we can really continue the peaceful fight but yeah ive been considering trying a hydro grow but i dont know it just seems a little too complicated for me i tend to just stick to soil its what im best at but a buddy did a hydro recently and wow the bud was just chronic after drying the bud was purple and gold and suprisingly it was just simple bag seed detroit regs! what a nice suprise that was hahah
