Really Really Cheap CFLs at Harbor Freight

I stopped by my local harbor freight store to get some tools and such, and they happened to have a big CFL clearance sale. They were 23W CFLs for just 30 cents each! I bought about 30 of them, cost me ten bucks for the lot - 45,000+ lumens for $10!

You can find your local store here (or just google map search for harbor freight and your zip code) and give them a call, see if they have a similar clearance going on: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/retail_stores.taf

EDIT: I was mistaken, these are actually 23W bulbs, not 14w bulbs. The lumen output is 1650 per bulb. These ones: http://www.conservationmart.com/p-638-maxlite-23w-micromax-spiral-mlm23shlww.aspxhttp://www.atlantalightbulbs.com/ecart/nw012104/MAXLITE14WSPIRAL2700K.htm

They also have 15 watters on their site for .69 cents. 1100 lumens which is damn good for 15 watts, might even be worth ordering from the site for lower or side lighting.

I visited my local one, they didn't have anything good. Only one single brand of bulbs, regular priced.

It was a really small store, only a couple isles.

You are going to need to get some 6500Ks to go with those 2700K in order to get some good growth during vegetative. The 2700's don't really appeal to the plants vegetative needs as much as the 6500's do.
