building new grow room ...whats do ya think?

im ready to fire it up now, but im not sure where to ground it. the lights socket assembley goes into the reflector. and there is a white and a black wire. the power cord that attaches to that has a green ground wire. do i ground it to the wood its hanging from? or do i ground it to the metal assembley socket. it has a round metal thing at the end where you put it on a screw.

this bitch is up and running. tommorow ill put up the mylar and put the oscilating fan in there. its good to go yay. im pumped. 20 vegging plants are going in there tommorow

one thing.. you should also build a shelf.. for you ballast to keep it up and out of the wayy...

im going to use my ballast next grow as a dryer also. i have a plant that sits next to it andthe soil dryes out so much faster then the others. so im going to put it in the middle of my6plantsnext time and see if it won't dry out a bit faster. trial and error.

i am pumped up now. the room is up and running. right now i have one closet with 500 watts hps vegginf about 20 plants. the other 25 or so are in the room thats 6 by 6 flowering under 700 watts hps. its great now i have enough space for the 5 gallons again and i can tie em all down. before i couldnt tie em down properly because they took up too much space

my ballast doesnt get hot. at all. just wonderin what company you got your equiptment from. i got mine from sun supply and so far they are kickkin butt
