Bud porn - day 45 from seed under CFLs

Well Dude, im impressed, those are some beauties. I really dont know why everyone hates on cfls, the results continue to disprove the weak of faith. Small but tasty bro, small but tasty
 
Looking good....I think the hatred of CFL's is subsiding and the technology is getting better.
I think its more of a loyalty issue with MH/HPS but CFL's do work.

Personally I use one light 400w HPS/MH conv...I really dont want y splitters and cords all over the place. I have enough crap with what I have and really dont want another 2 or 3 power strips.

I am thinking about getting a T-5 for either veg, mothers, or clones. I think those are bad ass.

Shoot bro, I did an entire grow with two 48" 2 bulb shop lights. Wasnt the best but it worked. CFL's are here and making an impact for sure :hump: No hate here

Really don't know what strains they are. Asked my buddy/dealer for some seeds and he gave me a grab bag. I'm pretty sure I have two diff purples - prolly GDP and Purple Urkle. The rest I have no idea. Might be a goo or two but thats just a guess.

Thanks for the comment! I personally didn't think CFLs would be up to it. But damn did i prove myself wrong. Next grow will have to go with more room and an HPS.
 
nice pretty bud, but ide use ur cfl for veg and HPS400 for flowering , ul get so much more out of ur grow, seriously u wanna try it if u already havnt!!!!!!

Might start growing in a 10x10 room with 3 - 1000w HPS. Right now I cant even run a 150w due to heat. I'm growing in a 3x3x2' non-vented area atm.

MIracle grow moisture control soil took care of nutes for first few weeks. After that I used cheap ass vigora 24-8-16 at 1/10 strength every watering. When I started bloom I continued with the vigora with the addition of 0-11-1 bone meal and tbls molasses. Finally broke down and went to the hydro store and bought flora nova one part bloom 4-8-7. keeping at around 1000 ppm every other watering. I give the credit to love and molasses :)

I transitioned with the lights progessing from all 6500 to all almost all 2700. Started them under 4 23w 6500 then progressed to 10 23w 6500 then to 8 23w 6500 and 3 68w 2700. Currently there are 3 68w 2700, 5 23w 2700, 2 23w 6500 and one 23w 5500.

ur space is small at the mo so ur cfls are perfect!! 3 1000w in a 10x10 will produce a hudge amount of heat but if u can control the heat ul get some eye popping results!!!!!!!!!!!! go for it, hope u open a journal when u start this 1, taffo
 
You say thats day 45 under cfl, what wattage?I only ask because i have a white demon about 45 days under 2- 20 watt cfl's and it is not even one foot tall yet.

The latest pics are day 51. You can follow my sig link for the whole grow but they are currently under 8 - 23w and 3 - 68w. Vegged under 10 - 23w

My mostly indica plant (not show in pics) is only 1.5 ft tall. I started flowering them around day 20 at only 4"
 
This is just one of the plants - plan on pinching my first nugs in the next couple days to start curing for 420.

sorry dude, thats not enough man...... i got 10 40w and 5 42w in my box for flowering i wouldnt go with less than 100w for vegging. 2 20w wont cut it for a good growth rate....it will work for the start of veg though
